Matt was the best server! He even brought a speaker for my birthday! This was the best birthday I could ask for! He laughed with us and had such a good time overall!

May this be a constructive criticism, but this was one of the worst experiences ever , we felt terribly rushed , we were asked for boxes and dessert right after about 5 minutes we received our entrees, and then again and again , to the point that we wanted to have a chocolate fondue and a couple of after dinner drinks but decided to just finish as quick as possible and get out of there because we were feeling really uncomfortable, really awful

My wife and I have been coming to this location for several years. This last experience was awful. There were fruit flies Or nat's all around where we were sitting near the bar area. We requested for the waitress to lower the lighting because ws saw several fruit flies or knats flying around our table and the bar. The waitress had a lower the lights and they subsided. We still had some flying around our heads even after the lights were turn down. I tried to kill one after our main entree and that was over our fondue pot. The manager never came over to talk to us after we mentioned it to the waitress. The only reason we finished our food was the fact that we knew any germs would be boiled and it kill off any germs in the fondue. We didn't even stay to get the chocolate fondue. Worst experience for a sixteen year anniversary. This used to be our favorite resturant. We will not be back.

Be sure to that you allot at least an hour and a half of your time to reasonably enjoy this experience. We loved every minute of but had to rush through the experience as we had plans afterwards. Our waiter was extremely accommodating and made our time enjoyable!

Arrived early for reservation and quickly seated us. Server was great. We upgraded our meal to included lobster and filet, everything was good. Was my husband's birthday and I noted that in the reservation but it wasn't acknowledged, no big deal, but why ask if it's not acknowledged. Overall it was good, but pricey. We have been numerous times so was expected, but $175 for dinner with no alcohol is a lot.

Amazing service and great food

Birthday

I booked Melting Pot for my birthday because I haven't been there in years and was hoping for a nostalgic visit where I could show my best friend and boyfriend what fondue was all about (they've never been). Unfortunately, we all ended up a bit disappointed as to how the evening unfolded. It began with us arriving 5 mins before our reservation (5:30pm) and then not being sat for 20 mins even though there was only on other set of people come in after us for a table that had a reservation and they sat them immediately. After being sat, we weren't greeted for another 10mins. The server was sweet and kind and was doing her best, she let us know she was newer to the crew and we were trying to be as patient as possible, but there seemed to be some sort of flaw in the system. We were hungry and ready to go and after about 2hours we finally had the dinner portion of the meal, which meant we still had to cook it... and at that point we didn't have time or wanted to wait on dessert. I'm well aware fondue does take a considerable amount of time because you must cook your own food, but it just seemed like it took an exceptionally long time between courses. The server graciously gave us a free dessert card so we can come back and get the dessert portion of our meal that was didn't stay for. There didn't seem to be a manager or at least anyone I could tell was a manager helping them out to ease the process. Overall we were pretty bummed out by the whole thing.

The price on the open table app said $34 a person and I got charged $50 a person. Something needs updated or someone needs to figure out what prices really are! The waitress was asking us what we wanted for our meal like dippin cheese and the cooking pots. Never said once anything was an up charge. Then she didn't come back around so I can ask her why bill was $16 more a person and I had 4 people.

Have never had a rough experience at Melting Pot until tonight. We waited 20 mins at our table without anyone coming to greet us or take a drink order. I had to go to the hostess stand (the 2 girls were sitting almost on the ground watching videos on their phones) to ask if someone was coming over. Once we put our drink order and food in, we waited 15 minutes without any drinks or even water. We had to ask another waiter if we could get water. The waitress never offered or even realized we got it from someone else. It took almost 3 hours from start to finish. We were the last people in the restaurant by the time we got the check and left. We’ve been going for almost 20 years and have never had service like this. Our waitress was nice but didn’t seem ready to take on so many tables or larger groups. She said she had been there for 2 months. It was also SUPER hot inside. I understand all the steam and hot plates but it felt like a sauna.

Came here tonight to celebrate our two year anniversary. When we made reservations, they asked if there was any special occasion but yet we weren't told happy anniversary or anything. That was a little weird. For some reason Pete the bartender was assigned tables; in addition to making all the drinks for the entire restaurant and serving the people at the bar. He did a remarkable job multi-tasking under pressure. The drinks were fantastic and so was his attitude, but I think its messed up that management was putting so much work on one person, and although he handled it impressively, I would not want to be in his shoes. The restaurant was filled and everyone was ordering drinks including us. Pete had a great attitude, but not everyone was as patient as we were. Exceptional workers should not be rewarded with extra work. We had a great dinner but it took three hours to complete. If management is reading this please give Pete our love and recognition, and maybe even a raise. Thanks for the experience.

We had a lovely time here and had such a wonderful experience. Jake was the best server we could have hoped for! He paced everything right and allowed us to have time to enjoy each meal! The food was spectacular! Some of the best food is here and we know we can count on it! Will be returning and requesting jake! Added bonus was the select parking spots for the restaurant!Parking: Free parking for the restaurant in a parking garage with the sign!
