First time I arrived to Sarasota I was looking for a Taco place, Google show me this. I saw the name Tijuana. And I assumed the tacos were Tijuana style. I used to live in Tijuana I know what of tacos they served there. But I was so disappointed with Tijuana flats, never going there again. The tortilla is way to big for the amount of protein their service. Those tacos are more like american đź than Tijuana tacos. Im not sure what is there tacos style. But if they have the name Tijuana on their name., the tacos should me more like Tijuana street tacos, Doesn't come close to what they serve.

Walked in. Manager at cash register didnât say anything. Waited. A young man walked up. I said âhello!â in a friendly tone. He just stared at me. So I told him my order. When he brought it to me, I said âThanks, have a great day!â And he said nothing. What is wrong with people?

I can't remember a time going to a Tijuana Flats and having a bad meal. It's just a really good place for quick Mexican food. And the service is always great, friendly, and helpful.

I walked in and was greeted right away. My order was read back to me and I got my food in a good amount of time. Sometimes I prefer to wait because I know itâs fresher !! Food was really good. Their salsa is the best !

Excellent!! I have been wanting to try this place for a while now, and so glad that I stopped in today! I read a lot of reviews - and I think itâs a given that when someone has a negative experience they are going to tell the world, but people need to get better about sharing positive experiences.
I got the taco salad bowl and it was perfect. The bag of chips on the side were delicious too! The two guys I encountered inside were super nice and friendly.
I will definitely be going back to Tijuana Flats!

Three girls were working by themselves tonight and they all still had a smile on their faces despite the ugly ass customers and how they treated them. One customer (we wonât mention her name) aka muffin top complained to every new customer who came in. They tried to get us on board but we just enjoyed our chips and salsa outside.

Would give zero stars if possible. Ordered a taco salad and tacos through Uber Eats. The taco salad didnât come with a tortilla bowl as advertised and the pico de gallo order was replaced by BROWN guacamole. Looks like a cat puked on top of the salad. Tacos were sent wrapped up like burritos and in a burrito sized flour tortilla. Iâve ordered tacos from Tijuana Flats and they did not look nor were served like this. Food was cold when it got delivered- while keeping an eye on the status, it was under âwrapping upâ for over 30 minutes. The first driver waited so long for the order to be finished they ended up dropping the delivery. Not a great experience and it will be a while before we order from or go to this store again, if we decide to return at all.
