Tsunami Sushi & Hibachi

The management, servers, and chefs here are AMAZING! I am a regular at this restaurant. They are so good to me and everyone who steps into the doors. I am specifically grateful for Jeffrey (manager), Lydia (server), Ellie, Kody (server), Gustavo (server), and Jay, the sushi chef. I love you all and thank you for being the best of the best!!

Tsunami Sushi & Hibachi in Lakewood Ranch is absolutely fantastic! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The sushi is top-quality, with a great variety of rolls to choose from, and the hibachi experience is both entertaining and delicious. The chefs are skilled and engaging, making every visit enjoyable.
The staff is friendly, attentive, and provides excellent service from start to finish. The restaurant is clean, welcoming, and has a great atmosphere for date nights, family dinners, or special occasions. Every meal I've had here has exceeded my expectations. If you're looking for amazing sushi and hibachi in Lakewood Ranch, Tsunami is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

The restaurant was a great spot for lunch with friends. We were happy to find that they offer really good lunch specials at a reasonable price, and the food was fresh and delicious. We especially enjoyed the speedy and friendly service. While the inside was a bit dark and there was limited outdoor seating, we had a good time and will definitely be back.

This place is my all time favorite. The lava rock is just a neat experience overall. They have a unique variety of sushi rolls as well. I’ve been there probably over 20 times and it’s just amazing. ❤️

This our go to sushi restaurant in Sarasota. The rolls are fresh and very flavorful. The staff always is friendly and knows what we want.

We were very happy to see such a large vegan menu (1 diner out of 3 is vegan). The atmosphere, very cool. Our server, Noah, was absolutely excellent. Patiently answered all questions and offered advice. The food presentation was spectacular, but the food flavor was not superb. For the price and atmosphere we were expecting “knock your socks off flavor”, but it was missing. Vegan yakisoba had a garam masala flavor to it and was very oily. Maybe this is the restaurant’s take on yakisoba, but it was not pleasant. We also had hibachi filet. Once again, it was ok. I could easily replicate this at home even without a hibachi grill. We also ordered the Vampire roll. Just an ok roll. No flavor jumped out to differentiate this from something you could buy at the grocery store. Maybe we ordered the wrong things, but when we go out to eat, we’d like it to be “wow! That was really really tasty “ This was good, just not excellent
