Varietal Coffee Bar inside The Overton

Rode our bikes over from the Legacy Trail at Payne Park. Had a beer and a grill cheese sandwich. It was hot and delicious. Loved the outdoor bring your pup and eat vibe. I would eat here again.

Came here with fam on ride back from airport, kinda busy good use some heaters. Dad liked soup and music. Mom said all was Instagram pretty. I only liked hot chocolate. Previous visit liked breakfast more. Food hot both times.

you must try the breakfast sandwich. for something different, try the cereal latte. inside and outside seating. Avocado toast is a must try.

Such a trendy and cute little coffee and breakfast spot. Ordered a breakfast sandwhich and glad my husband and I grabbed one to split....it was huge! It was filled with delicious flavors and the bread was amazing. We were both full and still managed to finish every bite. Staff were friendly and our barista was so excited for us to be visiting for the first time. Plenty of outdoor seating.... few inside tables available as well. Prices were reasonable. Coffee was good too.

Extremely unprofessional. Will not do an event here ever again. Not only did the owner of the complex only introduce himself as “the owner of the plaza” but then the assistant says some bs like this after I expressed my concerns about how the event was unorganized. Apparently Christian was the event coordinator but wasn’t there. But I’m the D bag. Bad way to represent a restaurant that claims to support local artists. Not a good look!

Very pleasant temperature. Bartender (Tom) friendly and just attentive enough! Try the cauliflower popcorn! Excellent!

Their food is good in general, but probably the best fries in Sarasota! Love the outdoor seating - there’s lots of it!

I have been to Overton 5 times: three of those times I had to take back the coffee because it was tepid. Coffee should be HOT or iced--not tepid!
