Hidden gem. Personal recommendations of authentic Hungarian food (including brassoi apropecsenye) were both excellent and free cheesy bread served first was very good.

This was our second visit.
Our first experience was great. Food and all. THIS time was disappointing..bloody mary had an old dirty stalk of celery in it..our meals were lacking in the amount of meat it needed. Fries were soggy and misding potatostrings on chicken ..service was ok but not exceptual. We will still try again but glad it wasn't our first visit because if it was. I wouldn't be back..oh. and were out of dishes too.

Food was delicious and filling. Prices were very reasonable. Service was fantastic. I recommend the dobos torte if you are wanting a sweet ending to your meal.

So with not having reservations i on a busy Friday night, we had troubles getting into a couple other restaurants so started looking what else was in the area. My mom being Hungarian so me being half Hungarian we decided to venture out and try something new. There were a variety of dishes and with six of us, we tried a number of items from chicken paprikash to a fried chicken to cordon blue and stuffed peppers. All were decently good. The area that it’s located in is a bit rundown, but the staff was friendly and the food tasted fresh.

Quaint little Hungarian restaurant. Restaurant tastefully decorated. Server was promt and attentive. My partner order the chicken pavrish which she really enjoyed. My cordon Blu did not have much ham or cheese in the chicken. Thus it came off a it try for my taste. Mashed potatoes were also try and a bit bland. Could have used some type gravy for taste. Also slaw salad served on the side was also a bit dry as it had little if any kind of dressing on the salad. Overall it was just an ok experience for us. Might give it another try if we end up in the area again.

We did a wine tasting this evening. The sommelier canceled and the owner did a wonderful job of juggling the event. There were many reservations and then half the restaurant came if as walk ins so they could have used probably one or two more people to manage more smoothly. The tables are rather close together and it would have been more comfortable with some more space around the tables. The wine tasting was fun and there were lots of meats, cheeses, breads, and crackers. We stayed to eat dinner and it was delicious. I got the stuffed cabbage rolls and my husband had Paprikash. Another one of our group had the scallop appetizer. It was all wonderful. We saw other dishes that we will try next time. We will definitely be back!

This place never disappoints! The servings are huge and all homemade. The chicken paprikas is dreamy - like you will dream about it and want to go back for more! The schnitzel is amazing and perfect!

My sister and I decided to stop by here and boy are we glad we did. From the chicken crepe, fried cheese with white rice that was flavorful. My sister ordered the chicken cordon Bleu, the best I have ever tasted. Chicken paprika so much popping flavor.GIVE THIS PLACE A TRY!!!

We stopped in for our first visit for a quick lunch. We were very impressed with the friendly service as well as the mouthwatering food. My husband had the chicken paprikas and I had the chicken schnitzel sandwich. We shared a glass of wine that we asked the waitress to choose and it was perfect! We cannot wait to go back and try more!
