We went in for savor Sarasota, we had never heard of the place before. We weren't aware it was located in a hotel before arriving. We were probably the only people there that weren't guests of the hotel. We sat at the bar. The food was great, we had the brussle sprouts ( AMAZING), and the meatloaf and the poke bowl. Enjoyed all of the food. The bartender ( I think Toni) was very nice and enjoyable to talk to. She made us feel very comfortable. We had a beer from tap...
Staff was nice and did a good job. Food was...ok. First plate of deviled eggs were good. Second plate tasted old. The brisket bao tacos were old, dry and inedible. Chicken bao was ok. Brussels sprouts were very good. Crab cake was good. I don't think I'd come back except maybe for a drink but not for the food.
We were celebrating a dear friend's bday and couldn't have asked for better food or service. We ordered a big variety of shareables: mushroom pasta, bao buns, arugula salad, Brussels —everything g was fantastic. They surprised our bday girl with a mocktail and desert in the house. We will be back for sure!
