A Truly Exceptional Kaiseki & Omakase Experience.
This was my first time experiencing an authentic Japanese multi-course kaiseki and omakase dinner, and Yugen completely exceeded my expectations. Beyond exquisite food and experience! The chefs were amazing, providing so much detail and stories about the food. Presentation was perfect! Many of the foods were outside of my comfort zone but I tried them anyway and it was all so delicious. All the different flavors and combinations of food were a wonderful blend. The limited seating keeps the experience truly intimate. We will definitely go again!! Thank you for such a wonderful experience!!
We are very lucky to have a restaurant of this caliber in Sarasota. Went on Sunday with my wife and daughter. It was my wife and I’s second time and Yugen, which was clearly a great experience the first time, was even better the second time. The staff are attentive, welcoming, and professional, and the chefs provide detail and stories about the food. Presentation is perfect.
