Yummy House China Bistro Sarasota

We eat at the bar. No one else at the bar plus 4 table in the restaurant. I believe they changed ownership the food wasn't the same!!! I realized after I pay they included 20%tip.. well not to happy.. I will Not drive half hour to go back there .. ?

Star is only for food review as I had it togo. The staff I engaged with was very accommodating.

I got the beef udon with pepper sauce and the seafood fried rice with spicy XO sauce. The rice was flavorless and barely had any seafood. There was miniature shrimps and marble sized scallops in there. I had to ask for salt bc the soy sauce packets are basically colored water vs actual soy sauce so it didn’t really help with flavor. The udon was basic but had more flavor due to the sauce. 2 items were a little over $30. Overall, it’s not good to return.

This place has gone down hill big time.
I was surprised when I walked in on a Friday night to only see people at four tables. We ordered two orders of Orange Chicken, ribs that were horrible. They were chopped into little pieces and a few other dishes. Within a few minutes of ordering the food came out of the kitchen. This tells me that everything is precooked and they just toss it onto a plate.
The orange chicken was very dry, there was no way to hold the little pieces of ribs. Overall the food was barely edible. We wont be going back.

This message is for management. We love your restaurant. Good food and service. However, it all gets ruined because you haven't fixed the air conditioners in a while. It gets extremely hot inside and the fan you have running does nothing to make it comfortable. Please fix the AC. We will not be back until the AC is fixed.

Parking: Love the BBQ Spareribs.

Called in to make sure the restaurant still open. Came in at 8 and found the restaurant already closed even though they said that they open on the phone and the sign said 8:30 closing time.

Guess this restaurant isn’t what it used to be.

First time in, I went for dim sum, had steamed
tripe, chicken feet in black bean and salt and pepper calamari, all was very good, the calamari really did not have much of a salt and pepper flavor but I think it is better than to much salt and pepper, it was delicious anyway but I would just call it fried calamari, it also was sprinkled with crushed peanuts and some greens that was a nice touch, my waiter was very good and friendly, I can't wait to go back for dinner some time and will be back for dim sum for sure

Vegetarian options: I really did not look for it, but I did see a few vaggie and tofu dishes on the menu

Parking: Not much to say, they have a parking lot

Dietary restrictions: I always do take out for lunch it is so good and staff is friendly. I brought my husband for dinner and it was delicious. He had the duck and as always I had the Bistro fried rice and dumplings. You must go. I am truly going to miss eating here when I move back to Buffalo

We used to love this place. Tonight we had Mongolian Beef. The beef tasted funny. Mostly had onions. Also had the Yummy Chicken it wasn’t yummy at all. We won’t be back..

We were on our way home and were craving for some Chinese cuisines. So glad we chose Yummy House Bistro for lunch. I am very picky when comes to dim sum but each dish that we ordered was very tasty, from turnip cake, chicken feet, shrimp fried tofu, blackbean sauce clams to beef chow fan, and other dishes… they were great, sauces and favor were on point! Even their jasmine tea was not “light”, it has a right “kick” to compliment their dim sum dishes. We did not have to wait long for our food eitherr, good services! We are happy to discover this place. Plan to come back if we travel down south again!
