Vargas Mexican Food Reviews
Went for the first time today as it was highly recommended! What a disappointment! I ordered a steak burrito and all I got was a glorified taco with beef jerky! Seriously, I can't understand why people give them such high ratings!? It was the worst burrito I ever had! I would have been better off going to 7-11 a d buying a frozen one there! Nothing but greatness, owners/employees to food & drinks. Will always recommend & be coming back as long as I am in area. Thanks Vargas team!!!
When I first tried Vargus, I was immediately in love it was just like having tacos in Mexico. I have traveled and worked in Mexico and there is no difference!
I have tried many of their daily changing specialty dishes and always pleased with the dish.
Great food, family run, Authentic Mexican food.

Vargas Mexican Food is a restaurant that offers both eat-in and takeout options, focusing on fresh and flavorful meals. They are known for their breakfast burritos and azada meat burritos, as well as vegetarian options featuring rice, beans, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cilantro, and Mexican cheese. The restaurant is small but has decent seating for its size, and customers can enjoy their meal in a cozy space or take it to go. The location is a bit off the beaten path, but many customers agree that the drive is worth it for the delicious Mexican cuisine.
Recent reviews highlight the street tacos and the Mexican breakfast plate as standout dishes, with one customer praising it as one of the best breakfast dishes they've ever had. Another popular option is the quesabirria tacos, which are described as fantastic and flavorful. The birria dipping sauce has also received high praise, with customers enjoying it to the last drop. Vargas Mexican Food has limited hours, primarily serving breakfast and lunch, making it a great spot for locals, including law enforcement and work crews, who often grab takeout. While the atmosphere is simple and not fancy, it embodies the no-frills, authentic Mexican eatery vibe, focusing on delivering delicious food. Customers look forward to returning and exploring more of the menu.
