“OK, first of all, I'm a food critic. I worked in executive five star dining and I know several Michelin chefs. But, every once in a while, even a guy like me wants to order a delivery pizza.At first, I was told, "no" they would not delivered to me. Because I am 1 mile outside of their radius. The young guy I spoke with recommended instead that I called Lake Placid Papa John's which is ridiculous because I'm exactly 30 seconds south of Highway 98. I think the guy was just trying to pass the buck. However, I called Lake Placid and they also said I was outside their delivery radius and that made a lot more sense to me because it would be like calling Denver, Colorado and asking for a pizza to be delivered to Florida.So what do you do? I ended up calling the Sebring location back and asked for the manager. I got Lexi on the phone. That was the manager's name. She was a young lady, but she seemed intelligent and open minded, because when I explain the circumstances to her she said, "yeah that is ridiculous" I also explain to Lexi about how much money they were losing out on because they were not willing to extend their delivery radius to the entire Sebring area. They were missing out on business from all of the people south of HCA hospital now if you think about it that's a lot of people and a lot of money to be missing out on. The radius gap between the Sebring delivery area and the Lake Placid delivery area does not touch. This means there is a huge gap where they are missing all of the Spring Lake and all of the people who live just off Highway 66. Ridiculous!I mean, if I'm a business owner and I have a pizza business, I'm gonna make sure that I cover the entire Sebring area because I'm not about to miss out on money from people because of a 1 mile extra driving radius. Lexi went on to explain to me that she was going to go ahead and allow the delivery, but she also told me that she could not guarantee that every manager would make the same choice at Papa John's. I agreed that that was likely to happen and I understood. Now the pizza: there are a lot of pizzas in this town and a lot of these guys who make them are from New York City so you're not missing out on good quality pizza here in Sebring. I will say that most of the time the sauce is very acidic no matter where you go. Papa John's sauce, which I have not had in sometime, at least 20 years has a definite sweetness. It had a good aroma, and while not punched with herbs it did satisfy the palate in a balanced way. I enjoy the sweetness that they have in their sauce whether they slow cook the onions or just added a little sweetener to the sauce. both are fine it's a matter of taste. Italians will choose one or the other. They all typically use their onions to gain this type of exposure in the flavor by a quick sear and sauté of the onions to gain a bolder aroma, or a slow cook of the onions in order to sweeten them. We ordered the new New York style pizza, and while there is not a consistency in the two pizzas we received the first one was more New York style in the crust. Well, the second one was denser and the crust endings were not equal in size, thickness, or make, but for a commercial pizza, it filled the stomach. In this review, I am complementing the manager more than anything for her ability to deliver to us. You often do not see this in commercial businesses. They are usually very stoic and black-and-white on their terms. For Lexi to think outside the box and be willing to make a personal judgment was appreciated. She was a good manager, and she is being recognized for that purpose. You hardly see this ever so kudos to you Lexi, and thank you for being a good manager!“
“This store is clean and well kept. It's in a nice little shopping plaza that is also fairly well maintained. This location in particular has hit every pizza we have ordered out of the park. Fresh and hot, stuffed or thin crust, it's all been great. The two men who close are kind and respectful, definitely good workers. This is a good Howies location.“
“Attention to detail ! Customer service amazing !! Clean store ! I have ordered from this store many times and everytime all the employees greet you and are friendly no matter how busy they are! I had a small issue with one order and they went out of there way to make it right ! I thank this store with all the hard working pizza artists ! I really think these amazing people are top notch both morning and night crew amazing !!!!“
“I went to the drive thru today to order. A gentleman took my order over the speaker and I noticed how polite and helpful he was as I tried to make my choice. When I got to the window to pay, the same man took my money and gave me my food. I asked if he was the manager, in which he was. I complimented him on his politeness. That goes a long way with me.“
“Pretty good, my go to place for wings, I see some people complaining about a lack of sauce but I've never had that problem, so I doubt that happens all that much. Complain on stuff like their social media pages if you have issues, they will likely sort things out for you“
“I was very happy with our Pizza Hut experience. The order I put in online and the timing was great. Our pizzas were delivered still like they were hot out of the oven! The delivery girl did a great job and she was so kind and professional ?I also ordered the fried cheese sticks which were very good and the Cinnabon rolls were good and gooey ?“
“Sorry guys I did not take any pictures. The staff was friendly and inviting. Very pleasant to speak with. Small casual atmosphere. So let's talk food. I had the fried shrimp box, I loved loved loved the shrimp. The breading was crunchy without being hard or overly breaded and yes there was plenty of shrimp in each bite (jumbo shrimp) and well seasoned. My nephew ordered the chicken. This gives you a home cooked fried chicken feel. The flavor was great the only downfall is it was a bit greasy to me, but still really good. Next time I will try the fried fish. Mouth is watering just thinking about it.“
“It's Little Caesars if you've never tried them then you should at least once. The kids love this place and my wallet loves it to. Plus if your in a hurry they have the pickup and go deals. Hot , fresh , and fast can't go wrong.Kid-friendliness: Kids are always welcomed and what brat don't like pizza ? sometimes I use it as a reward for good behavior.“
“Kind workers! I read the reviews and I think they are getting a bad wrap! Fried chicken is usually greasy people?!!!! It's cooked in oil!!!!!! My food always hot, quick, and people are really nice at the window!!!! I go here every 10 days or so... never had to wait but once told to pull forward and they have me extra chicken for my wait!!!!!!! I'm sure there would be alot of complaining if they closed down like in Avon park!!!!!! People be nice“
“Until our last time there, food was good. Last time we were there, we ordered wings all flats. Was served all boneless. Wish we would have kept the boneless because waitress took our boneless wings back. When they brought our flat wings, there weren’t cooked all the way because they rushed to get them out to us. Our fries were getting cold so we had to eat them with no wings. Bad experience all the way around. Will be a while before we return“
