“We were walking down the street on Siesta Key and the owner came out and handed us a menu. He talked highly of his food and he delivered! Some of the BEST food I’ve ever had! His brussel sprouts are out of this world good and the Wagu burger was delicious! Super nice dude, don’t skip out on this place!“

“We were able to get seats at the bar. We enjoyed ourselves. The bartender Jen was great. It was busy and she was on her toes as she was the only bartender but made sure everyone was taken care of. The expeditor was impressive. His name was Brody. It was great to see a young man being so attentive to what he was doing and making sure that the staff knew what was going on. Our food was delicious.“

“Ok so I go to Applebee's to pick up my sisters to go order and after talking to the bartender and restaurant manager we soon realized my sister ordered online with a different Applebee's and I Said I can't be driving way over there tonight because it was getting a little late! They said, " Oh no, we will make it for you and have it ready in a few minutes!" Well, they did! I’m not going to be home until 8pm where I will continue to work. I’m covered in mud and sweat. The AI drive thru systems have worked perfectly the few places I’ve seen them these year. I don’t care if it’s mean… fire who ever put the tip jar up. It’s wildly offensive. Makes Culver’s look bad. I worked nights at a taco bell / kfc in south Philly when I was their age. Take your tip jar somewhere else.“

“On Memorial Day our favorite breakfast locations were closed so my wife and I decided to try this location. We were sat right away and while the interior had a nice little vibe to it any positive thoughts were instantly taken away by how sticky the tile floor was. I could literally hear my shoes stick with each step. Not sure if this was due to soap not being rinsed properly or another reason but it did stick in my mind as we were walking to our table.

The omelet I ordered was good, as was the toast and bacon. I wish this location, though, had regular hash browns. They do not. Their only hash browns are cheesy. To not have a plain version really bummed me out. The only other option were potatoes that had sweet potatoes mixed in. Again, bummer, since I do not like sweet potatoes.

All in all, The Original Egg was okay but not having options that other locations such as Millie's or Max's Table have, means we probably will not be back.“

“I stumbled on this gem after googling for a restaurant near me that wasn’t a chain or overpriced. I didn’t expect to choose a sports bar, but it’s the best decision I’ve made since I moved to Sarasota a year ago. I had a lb of the chicken thigh fingers with half of their Outback flavor (a must try if you like a little spice) and the other half in mango habenero. I also had an order of the curly fries. Total: $13 bucks. I would’ve paid twice that. The flavors just bursts into your mouth! The sauces tastes homemade and the texture was just right. The atmosphere was top tier with a friendly bartender who seems to be well liked by the regulars. I will definitely make this my guilty pleasure of the month. I love supporting a family establishment, especially one who is a “Friends”sitcoms lover!“

“Food was amazing and they even have an amazing selection of non-alcoholic beers. Our server, Jenna, was fantastic! And Mark, the bartender, was able to make some great drink recommendations. We got the fried goat cheese appetizer which was so melty and creamy and SO good with the fig jam. I got the Kona burger and my friend got the lobster grilled cheese special. The grilled cheese was amazing! We would absolutely come back for another good time and amazing service.“
