The food was terrible—the worst sushi I’ve ever had. On top of that, after using my credit card to pay here (the only time I’d used this card in a long while), I noticed fraudulent charges shortly afterward. I strongly advise being cautious if you plan to use your credit card at this restaurant.

I’ve been a client for the past 6 years. Come here at least once a week. Great food. Friendly staff. It’s packed come 5pm because it’s when the boats with sushi start. I always come right at 5pm or a bit before to secure a spot. Today was no different. However, I placed my order as soon as the waitress came over and waited 28 minutes for nothing. My order was never put in and by now the place is packed!! After bringing it to the attention to the waitress and the owner, I was told I’d have to wait another 15 min! For a simple order of crispy tuna (deep fried rice with spicy tuna on top)???? Why make sure to come early to then have to wait 45 for an appetizer? No thanks. Never again! Paid my beer and two plates I grabbed from the boats and left. They’ve lost me as a client as well as my husband. They could have expedited it considering how long I had been waiting and that it was their own fault. Like I said, I’ve been coming here for years. Faithful client. Not anymore!

Love the fresh Sushi! My favorite is the Blue Ginger Roll. It is my Friday night dinner every week! Ginger salad is refreshing, Miso soup is awesome and all the rolls are great! Vicki, Jules and the rest of the waitresses are supper attentive! 5 star recommendation!

We always go to a restaurant right before the movie theater. This time we choose Blue Ginger because it’s located in the same shopping center as Our favorite movie theater , “CineMark” and we were very pleased with our choice. Customer service was excellent and we got lucky that our reservation was for 5pm because at 5pm is when the sushi boats began rolling at the main counter. If you really want to enjoy the dishes while seating at the main counter then I suggest you make sure your reservation is around 5:30 or 6:00 pm that way you don’t have to wait for the chef’s to create their sushi menu on the boats. Seating at the counter is the best option because you get to taste a whole bunch of delicious dishes like shrimp, fish,veggies,different kind of sushi,chicken wings, skewers with chicken or steak and much more! Oh! Do not forget to bring Cash to tip the cooks and the way you do it is placing your money inside a little bucket that passes round and around! The cooks work very hard and they are very talented! You will see their talent anytime you see the boats passing by. Everything looks delicious and well executed. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. This was one of the greatest experiences we’ve had in a while, love it just love it 😍
This is our go-to place when my wife and I go to the movie theater near it. We always sit at the counter where they have a water trough that has small plates floating by. It's a great way to try so many different types of sushi. Food and the service consistently good. Good place to go get some sushi quickly. I've tried other things as well like Udon Chicken and that was excellent! If you are looking for that small plate sushi experience, this place does a very good job of it.

I just moved into this side of Pines and my friend invited me to Blue Ginger. It was an immediate yes in my book, and since then I have visited 5 more times. As a restaurant content creator, I can say I thoroughly enjoy the visuals of the food here as much as I do the taste.
If you come after 5PM you can experience the revolving belt of sushi plates in the bar at the middle of the restaurant. I highly recommend!
Even if you just are sitting at a booth, you can order from the regular menu and also get plates from the bar after 5PM if you wish. It’s a really great way to try new rolls, because you get 4 pieces instead of committing to a full roll!
My favorite roll is the Cilantro Roll. I have a shellfish allergy so I only stick to salmon or tuna rolls and ever since I discovered this one, I haven’t ordered anything else. I will attach a video of it for you to see for yourself.
I love their variety of sauces available, from eel sauce to spicy mayo to ginger sauce. And they don’t upcharge for them! The service is outstanding, they are very attentive and patient. The chefs deserve an applause, and all the tips in the world. Everything is always fresh and tasty.
I think the only thing they’re missing is an interior decor update to be more elevated and cocktails, or even mocktails. Only because I believe everything should match their quality of service and food. Their food presentation is always 10/10 though!
