Best New Orleans fare I’ve had in the Tampa area. Highlights: Cajun fried fish, sweet breaded fried corn, Zwolle tamales, well seasoned red beans and rice, boudin po boy, and amazing beignets in a honey butter sauce. These beignets were the style that doesn’t have big air pockets and were perfectly crispy and powdered. Service was friendly and it looks like they might have live music sometimes. Highly recommended. We will be back.

First time eating here and will definitely go back/order again. We had crawfish etouffee, gumbo and hush puppies. Everything was great and the hush puppies weren't dry. Was even good as leftovers. My only request for change is adding remoulade to the menu, it is a Louisiana staple after all and great to dip hush puppies in.
Honestly, I wanted to rate them lower, but the crab was so good I gave them back a couple stars.

They do not have crab crackers, only plastic forks that literally can't do anything to help you access the crab.

You can lick the crab, but you can not actually eat the crab. We had to pack everything back up and take home just to be able to eat it. But damn it was good once we got in it. Haha
