Rookies Family Grille & Bar

First time eating here and we'll definitely be back. We came for an early Mother's Day dinner and had a great night. Our kids loved the atmosphere and the options on the menu. The staff was amazing, helpful and very friendly. Our server Jason was the best server we've ever had and the manager was very nice. Thank you for being apart of my Mother's Day celebration.

First visit tonight. Not impressed with the menu, portion or prices.

We miss the old menu!! My husband and I went to Rookies tonight and was highly disappointed with the new menu. Hardly any sandwiches on the new menu. It took almost 30 minutes to get our food and when it came, it looked like it was leftover from the day before. Hubby got the BBQ Chicken burger and I got the Chicken Flatbread. Both were dry and no flavor at all. Husband’s sandwich looked disgusting when it came out. He said it didn’t taste much better. We complained to the waitress and she did comp some of our meal but we didn’t ask for it as it was not her fault. Sad to say we won’t be back.

Manager kicked me out when a homeless man went to punch me in the face. Happy holidays

What happened? Cordon blue sandwich average, fish platter was ****, at that price?

Ordered a pick up order sat there and waited for 20 minutes when my food was sitting there the whole time!! Can't give an honest review on the food because it will not be hot when I eat it

Sitting here waiting 12 minutes for drinks. Busser got us drinks. Put in orders basic burgers. She put order in on a scrap piece of paper. I'll review the food when it arrives but this seems very disorganized chaos. So far not impressed at all. Finally got server. Food was already placed on napkin to busser-got our boom boom shrimp same time as burgers. Fine but it was cold. Burgers ordered medium came out almost mooing. For a 15 burger you'd think they'd get it right. Really wanted to like this place. Came to the bar on Saturdays occasionally and no problems. Restaurant consistently chaos slow and low quality. Manager/owner needs to clean house and get it together as more restaurants come into the area otherwise you won't be around much longer. Best of luck to you!

Very disappointed for the 3rd time trying the all you can eat crab legs. Slow service. Soupy cole slaw. Crab legs not cooked properly. Could barely get any crab meat out. I give up. Such a waste of money. Definitely not worth $40.00 Sorry Rookies because typically I love this place but tonight I came home hungry!

I moved here 7 months ago from St. Pete so choices are much more limited… lol. The first time I came was for some drinks at the bar and I felt a little uncomfortable. Bartender didn’t really seem too accommodating and made me feel outta place. I decided to give it another try, since I am a former service industry person myself, (plus it’s close to home) and I’m so glad I did! I’ve been in 3x now since then and had Kara as my server everytime and she is awesome!! Very attentive, friendly and always working hard. She never fails to deliver. I work from home so I enjoy coming here on Friday afternoons towards the end of my work day for a late lunch and to decompress. My job is very stressful so it’s nice I can bring my laptop and end my day with good food and some drinks. Food is always really good and comes out fast too! It’s become my new regular spot.

It was our first time at this restaurant and we had just left another restaurant because the service and organization was so horrible. We were sat right away even though they were fairly busy on a Saturday night. Our waitress MacKenzie was amazing! We have not had service like that at any restaurant in a very long time. We will 100% return and we will tell all our friends!
