We went to this place in the evening as it was a short walk from our B&B and we were hungry after a day of travel. The little garden is delightful, and we enjoyed sitting in it. The place was not busy and we ordered right away. The food was OK. We have had Indian in many places. The samosa was flaky and hot. Seasoned well. The veg curry was mediocre (frozen peas and carrot mix, potato chunks in curry sauce-very soupy) and came with bread OR rice. We got the naan. It was like...
It's basically a mom and pop food stand with ample outdoor seating. There is a clearly marked vegan section on the menu and the owner who took our order was very helpful at explaining the options. We had the veg Biryani and Veg Curry roti. During our meal we were introduced to the co-owner who cooked our meal (his wife) so we got a chance to tell her how excellent the food was. It has beautiful serene atmosphere and attentive service.
The owner/chef was the coolest guy ever! Gave us great recommendations! The food was super flavorful and delicious and the atmosphere was gorgeous. Would definitely come again next time I’m in St Augustine!
