“We popped in here on a whim. Tucked down a little, cute street, fostering a wonderful vibe. It was about to sprinkle(maybe..Florida, ya know) but the owner said if we wanted to chance it, would could sit outside, as the wait time for an inside table was over an hour. We decided to chance it. So glad we did! Best chicken piccata I’ve ever had. Generous “wife portions” of wine, hah. And the food came very quickly. Really enjoyed the owner’s hospitality as well. “I have eaten at Piesano's twice, and each time it was awesome! The food is absolutely wonderful - today, my party and I enjoyed a cheese calzone, shrimp scampi, and gorgonzola salad with shrimp. All were excellent. And the service and ambiance are exceptional. It is very quiet and comfortable, and the wait staff are patient and kind and don't mind if you take your time. Not many restaurants are quiet and relaxing these days. The prices are fair, as well, especially considering the high quality of the dishes. Highly recommended!“

“This was easily one of the best Italian dining experiences. I’ve had in quite some time. I don’t mean to sound pretentious, but coming from the Chicagoland area I’ve certainly had my share of good Italian food. This is some of the best ever. Very friendly staff, attentive, kitchen, amazing food. We started off asking if we could just have a serving of scallops à la cart served as an appetizer. Amanda came back from the kitchen and told us that chef had been working on something that hadn’t been on the menu yet. Scallops wrapped in a crispy prosciutto with a lemony butter sauce. They were excellent. The prosciutto’s crispy saltiness was a perfect compliment to the sweet and tender scallop. We also had soup. A beefy rich, stuffed pepper and a cream of celery with datil pepper that knocked my socks off. Both the risotto carbonara and buffalo chicken risotto were creamy and full of flavor. All of this plus some warm bread served with roasted garlic infused olive oil. I’ll be looking for an excuse to make it back down this way.“

“We were visiting St Augustine for a couple of days and both of our dinners were from Carmelo’s pizza. The first night we had supreme special pizza. Yum! Last night was lasagna and salad with artichoke, peppers, feta cheese and more. Sorry didn’t remember the name of it. It also was delicious! If we come back to St Augustine, we will be eating here. Not only because the food is delicious but everyone is happy and really great at customer service. Jean - on the left both times on the phone with our orders but also in person makes you feel like you are the most important customer in the shop. I am a manager in customer service and the service she gave to me and the customer service that the team gives each other is outstanding. This is how a business is run: great food, customer service and team work! Thank you Jean and everyone for making our anniversary weekend special and delicious.“

“We order from Marco’s all the time and they always hit the spot! The staff here go above and beyond. While I was waiting for my pizza, the gentleman making it even remembered that I usually like it well done. The new app didn’t give me that option, but he took the time to ask and then put my pizza back in the oven for a few more minutes just the way I like it. It’s those thoughtful little details that make this Marco’s so special and why we keep coming back. Thank you for always being so considerate and making sure our food is perfect!“
