“We popped in here on a whim. Tucked down a little, cute street, fostering a wonderful vibe. It was about to sprinkle(maybe..Florida, ya know) but the owner said if we wanted to chance it, would could sit outside, as the wait time for an inside table was over an hour. We decided to chance it. So glad we did! Best chicken piccata I’ve ever had. Generous “wife portions” of wine, hah. And the food came very quickly. Really enjoyed the owner’s hospitality as well. “I have eaten at Piesano's twice, and each time it was awesome! The food is absolutely wonderful - today, my party and I enjoyed a cheese calzone, shrimp scampi, and gorgonzola salad with shrimp. All were excellent. And the service and ambiance are exceptional. It is very quiet and comfortable, and the wait staff are patient and kind and don't mind if you take your time. Not many restaurants are quiet and relaxing these days. The prices are fair, as well, especially considering the high quality of the dishes. Highly recommended!“

Our party had a lot of questions and she answered all of them. The food was delicious, probably the best Italian food our family has had in a long time. Definitely great serving sizes. “We were visiting St Augustine for a couple of days and both of our dinners were from Carmelo’s pizza. The first night we had supreme special pizza. Yum! Last night was lasagna and salad with artichoke, peppers, feta cheese and more. Sorry didn’t remember the name of it. It also was delicious! If we come back to St Augustine, we will be eating here. Not only because the food is delicious but everyone is happy and really great at customer service. Jean - on the left both times on the phone with our orders but also in person makes you feel like you are the most important customer in the shop. I am a manager in customer service and the service she gave to me and the customer service that the team gives each other is outstanding. This is how a business is run: great food, customer service and team work! Thank you Jean and everyone for making our anniversary weekend special and delicious.“
