Spinster Abbott's Bodega is a unique spot with a garage-style bar and a food truck serving fresh veggies. The bartenders are friendly and helpful, offering a variety of unique drinks. The trendy atmosphere also features vintage clothes, local foods, and cute gifts to browse. It's a great place to wind down and relax. The owner-operator Liz has done a great job of renovating the old 1945-vintage Indian River Fruit Stand building. The taproom decor is an interestingly eclectic collection, and when there's music, it's always good. Customers can enjoy excellent rotating taps for mostly local beers, good food, and other necessities in the bodega up front and from the onsite pop-up Hawaiian food trailer. The location in the northern part of the St. Augustine historical strip is less crowded than the main section, and the overall vibe is really chill, making it a nice spot to take a breather and plan your day.
