Love it here! Everyone complaining it is a crazy long wait came on the weekend lol it’s DTSP of course it’s busy on Saturday morning.
Sandwiches are lacking meat and toppings. The Italian has great flavors! but unfortunately 1 slice of meat isn't going to cut it. It's unfortunate because a little more love and this rating would be closer to a 4.5 , I hope the owners take note's because they have something great here with a few adjustments. Sandwiches also took 30 minutes.

Got egg, bread, and unmelted cheese after 40 minutes
Bought a loaf of sourdough bread to go and it was SO chewy and hard— did not taste fresh at all. For $13 I was expecting a lot more. Honestly Aldi’s sourdough bread was 100 times better and for a fraction of the price. Wish I had saved my money!

Food usually pretty good but service always terrible. Food takes forever to come out. Today waited over 40 min for grilled cheese sandwich and came out burnt.

Good food BUT the restaurant should reserve four seat tables for parties of three or more (or even two). There were multiple single patrons camped out at four seat tables with laptops and NO food while lunch parties of three plus groups hovered searching for tables. My party of four eventually had to eat outside (in August) while the single laptop users sipped their coffees slowly at large indoor tables. Not a good business model for repeat dining customers.

Restaurantji Recommends
Food and service is great. However, four four-tops and three two-tops each have one person camped out for extended periods with laptops. The restaurant should move these people out after 30 minutes of blocking tables. Go home or to the office to work.

I have a gluten intolerance and was able to eat this DELICIOUS bread! Would highly recommend the BLT and the grilled cheese sandwich with bacon and avocado!

A half hour wait for the most expensive burnt grilled cheese I’ve ever had.

Italian sandwich is one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Pastries are hit or miss. We enjoyed the chocolate chip cookie the best. We come here every time we are in St Pete.
