Bin6south is such a special place in St Pete. I’ve had the privilege of eating here 3 times over the past couple years and each time i’ve been taken aback by the creativity, professionalism, and hospitality. The chefs are always coming up with innovative, high end dishes and clearly love what they do. The intimate atmosphere allows you to really get to know the dishes and what’s gone into them. If enjoy elevated dining, but with a more casual atmosphere I cannot recommend this place enough. I will most definitely be back many more times

A hidden gem! Chef Kelsey's food was outstanding and Gabriel was so friendly and welcoming. Also love how you can sit at the bar with a view of the kitchen!

This is one of my favorite places to eat in downtown St.Pete. They knock it out of the park every time. If you enjoy watching the dishes be prepared, sit at the bar for a real treat.

Food was great. Service was great. Atmosphere was great. After we paid and tipped out our checks we were asked to leave while we still had drinks due to someone waiting for our spot.. we had reservations. Felt cold and ended the night a little before we were ready. Smart to wait for us to leave until after we tipped.
A quaint eatery with a nice wine selection.

Tried bin6south after having it on my must go list for the longest time. Unfortunately it didn’t live up to the hype and will not be going back. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great either, just okay.
The waiters were really kind and professional but the time it took to serve the plates was pretty long (clocked 50 minutes from when we ordered to the entree).
The atmosphere was cool in the intimate way it was laid out. 1 communal table with six seats and 6 seats at the bar. My partner and I were sat with a group of 4 at the table and it was really awkward as the group wasn’t friendly and it got loud between us and felt tight in space pretty quickly.
The food was what I was most excited about and the wine options were great but the actual food…not so much. The dolmades, one of my favorite greek apps, was actually too salty. Even with the yogurt the salt overpowered the plate. The crab raviolo that came as one big ravioli in a sauce had better taste than the domlade but the crab was really dry.
The entree, the snapper, was just not memorable. It had a southern homemade twist with a tomato base and summer veggies but I wasn’t personally a fan with the pairing of the snapper. And the snapper was a bit overcooked.
Before tip and 2 glasses of wine, $121. For just an okay experience I’ll go somewhere else next time.
Also to add, my partner and I reek of food in our clothes and hair. For such a nice and pricey restaurant they should have better ventilation for cooking odors.

An absolute gem. Elegant food, an incredibly cozy atmosphere, and a thoughtfully curated wine list featuring both Old and New World selections. Perfect for a romantic date or an intimate celebration with close friends or family. A must-visit — no doubt about it.
P.S. Even those spoiled by Moscow’s high-end scene will feel right at home here.

Where Flavor Lives and Kelsey Reigns Supreme
If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to eat in a dimension where Michelin stars rain from the sky like parsley flakes and culinary angels sing over every bite, then congratulations, you’ve clearly been to Bin 6 South—home of Kelsey, the undisputed heavyweight champion of chefs in St. Petersburg. No contest. Don't even bring up your cousin’s “famous” chili. Sit down.
Appetizers or Foreplay? Yes.
Let’s start with the Marinated Olives. Citrus zest, chili, rosemary, and olive oil? I don’t know if I ate them or if they whispered ancient Mediterranean secrets into my soul. I briefly considered proposing marriage to a Kalamata.
The Housemade Bread Duo is a carby miracle sent directly from the gluten gods—one side fermented garlic & honey butter; the other, squid ink sourdough with nori garlic butter. I licked the plate so thoroughly, the server thought I brought my own dishwasher.
And don’t get me started on the Bin Board. It’s four seasonal hors d’oeuvres, aka four edible love letters from Chef Kelsey. Honestly, it made me question my life choices. Why am I not a seasonal hors d’oeuvre?
Hot Appetizers? More Like Life-Changing Events
The Roasted Sunchokes made me want to call my parents and thank them for raising me with taste buds. The Farro & Mushrooms combo tasted like a creamy forest hug—rich, earthy, and suspiciously addictive. Kelsey probably has a fan club of mushrooms.
And the Dumpling Soup? It was so umami-packed, I blacked out for 37 seconds. When I came to, I had achieved inner peace.
Entrées – aka Kelsey’s Final Flex
Let’s talk about the Venison Tenderloin, which was so tender I suspect it got therapy. Paired with horseradish sweet potato puree and fermented mushroom cream sauce, it was like if a campfire had a degree in French cuisine.
The Pan Seared Scallops? They tap danced on my tongue while wearing little lemon-scented top hats. The fermented vinaigrette could convince a die-hard carnivore to hug a fennel.
Even the Gigandes Bean Cassoulet had me texting my ex just to say, “You missed out. On this. On me. On this bean cassoulet.”
Final Thoughts
Chef Kelsey is not cooking, she’s casting spells. This isn’t dinner—it’s a spiritual awakening. If you eat here and don’t feel compelled to write poetry to a parsnip or legally adopt a sunchoke, then I don’t know what to tell you. Maybe you’re just not ready.
Bin 6 South is the truth. Kelsey is the prophet. And I am now a devout follower.

This was one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. Anywhere. The Bin Board was such a unique and delicious blend of meats, cheeses and pickled vegetables, and more. The Bread and Butter is like no other place I’ve had bread and butter before. Everything is elevated not only on a taste level but visually as well. I had the Pork Belly Bulgogi, and no words can explain how amazingly delicious it was. And even though I couldn’t finish all Of my entree I had to have the Cinnamon Twist dessert. We sat at the bar, so we were able to watch them prepare everything. Such a fun experience. Oh! And the mocktails were also incredible. The team is super friendly, inviting and extremely knowledgeable. I will undoubtedly return again and again.

Great wine spot with a wide and unique selection. The food was good, however there was a bit of a hype factor to it. Their effort is noticiable and acknowledged. The cinnamon bun was a big disappointment. It was dry and needed a extra bang. I would not get this or try to avoid dessert. Thank you for your service! It was great!.

I went with five friends and not one of us had a good time. One of the dishes was over-salted to the point of being inedible, while others were bland. We're not a picky group at all, so it's rare to have ALL of us dislike the food somewhere. It was expensive for very mediocre food.
The icing on the cake that prompted me to write this review: Later, I learned that Bin6 has signed the Public Square pledge, identifying themselves as anti-woke and pro-life. No thanks. Keep that out of St Pete.
