Colony Grill - St Petersburg

I’m going to big up these folks because they were one of the first and few to have food after the hurricanes and they came through with good pizza and drinks. Thank you thank you thank you!

I traveled to Italy this summer, and I have to say, the pizza I had tonight at Colony Grill was better than any I had during my trip! I’d never had Connecticut style pizza before, but it is my new favorite—every bite has sauce, cheese, or toppings on it, so there’s no risk of leaving a pile of uneaten crust on your plate. I’m so surprised to see other reviews commenting on lack of flavor, because that is what so positively stood out to me. I think it might’ve been the hot oil that created such a tangy, crave-able taste, so I’d recommend ordering that as a topping. It’s one of the cleanest restaurants I’ve ever been in, the booths are comfortable, the service is attentive, the beers are well-poured, and the pizza is (in my opinion) better than Italy. Colony Grill is a welcome break from the ultra “trendy” and Instagram-forward restaurants that cost $$$ for a decent dinner downtown. I wish I’d given this place a try sooner!

It’s the best pizza in st Pete. Sadly, I don’t want pizza every day.

PLEASE ADD WINGS TO YOUR MENU or a burger or anything really. You can put a unique spin on anything and make it yours.

The atmosphere would be 10000x better and you would have more people with more options. The bar is really nice and you’re on a great corner but there’s too many better options for multiple cuisines.

Simple yet delicious pizza! I haven't had a really good bar pie(12") since moving down from Jersey 28 years ago. I personally like to order it with extra sauce. If you're looking for a good pizza, I would highly recommend trying Colony Grill! Staff is very friendly and welcoming.

We were running a race in st Petersburg they had sponsored pizza. 5 star absolutely great thin crust even cold, can't wait to go back to go to Colney Grill in Tampa or St Petersburg to try in their restaurant. bar pies are our favorite.

AMAZING pizza and AMAZING staff! Mark was our server and we were blown away with his genuine warmth and caring…especially following the aftermath of 2 back to back hurricanes on our community. If you are local, please continue to support this business. They were one of the last to close leading up to the hurricanes and one of the first to open. Definitely one of our new favorite downtown spots for pizza!
