I’ve been holding on to this for awhile until i was ready to talk about it. I planned the wedding all myself, I spent 2 years planning this day and my whole life dreaming about it . Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish.

The venue itself was not properly maintained. The floors were dirty, and the setup created safety concerns. The stairs leading to the stage were not connected properly, and there was no handrail, making it difficult and potentially dangerous for guests, especially during important moments of the ceremony. My father tripped .

As a Career bartender of 12 years, my guest list was FILLED of Bar/Restaurant owners all around the area. So the bartenders could have made so much money , literally everyone was in the hospitality industry but the service was one of the biggest disappointments. The bartenders were unprofessional, unfriendly, and provided poor service throughout the evening. I have bartended multiple weddings myself and when the bride and groom come up , they shouldn’t have to wait for a drink. They should be catered too first. especially when you tip $1200 prior to the event. Even more upsetting, despite having an **open bar** clearly stated in our contract, guests—including the bride and her father—were charged for drinks. This was completely unacceptable and directly contradicted what we had paid for and what was promised.

When you spend so much money on a wedding venue, you expect them to honor their contract and provide the level of service they advertise. Instead, we were left dealing with cleanliness issues, safety concerns, poor customer service, and unexpected charges that should never have happened.
This was supposed to be one of the happiest days of our lives, and it’s incredibly disappointing that we had to deal with these avoidable issues. I hope the venue takes responsibility and makes significant improvements so future couples don’t have the same experience.

From the moment we toured the venue to the very last dance on our wedding night, our experience was nothing short of incredible.

Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, but the entire team made the process feel seamless. Every question was answered promptly, every detail was handled with care, and we always felt like our wedding truly mattered to them—not just another event on the calendar.

On our wedding day, the venue was absolutely breathtaking. Everything was beautifully prepared, clean, elegant, and exactly as we had envisioned. The staff worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure everything ran smoothly, allowing us to be fully present and enjoy every moment with our family and friends.

What impressed us most was the professionalism, kindness, and genuine care shown by everyone on the team even when hiccups occurred. They anticipated needs before we even had to ask, kept everything on schedule, and made us feel completely supported throughout the entire day. We received countless compliments from our guests about how beautiful the venue was and how organized and effortless the celebration felt.

Our wedding was everything we dreamed it would be, and this venue played a huge role in making that happen. We will forever look back on our day with gratitude and joy because of the incredible experience they provided.

This place is honestly amazing! It is an event venue with an INCREDIBLE unique vibe that will transport your guests into the classiest, most magical experience! Along with the magnificent architecture & lighting, they have a ton of live performers that will make YOUR event something guests will talk about for years to come! ...my Dance Entertainers have done many cultural performances there, and it's one of the best venues for lighting and sound. Also, their team is easy to work with, providing a seamless experience from start to finish. Izzy & the team are professional, fun, and are ready to do whatever they can to make your event SHINE!

Great place for a work party. I’ve also been to concerts here. Very cool and intimate vibe.

Fabulous venue! Ive been here multiple times and have never posted... Whether its for a private fundraiser or for a live jazz Sunday fun day. It is the place to be! Keep up with their website for events though and you'll be amazed!

Cannot recommend the Floridian Social enough for your wedding, wedding reception, both, or any event! The venue is extremely flexible to fit any and every event or theme you want! We had our wedding reception here in February 2025, and we had it Gatsby/1920s themed, leaning into what the venue already had in droves decor-wise. Everything was perfect and the entire staff is incredible. Rene is so communicative with planning and answering my million questions, and the day of staff could not have been more helpful. If you’re looking for a unique, memorable experience for your event that your guests will rave about, this is the obvious pick!! We love the Floridian!

We had our wedding at the Floridian. WOW!!! Rene is the wedding coordinator and she made our dreams come true. The bartending staff provided us fantastic service and our guests never went without a drink! The entertainment and lighting staff made it a production and a true show. Professional team, moody, romantic, and unique venue. Thank you for making our day truly special and unforgettable.

We bought tickets and came here for a news years event. We waited for an hour at the bar, for the bar tender to even look up to take our order. We would not go to that event AGAIN.

I’m genuinely sad to write this. My boyfriend bought us tickets for New Year’s Eve, and unfortunately the experience was terrible. We used to love this place, but this event felt tacky and poorly executed.
It took an extremely long time to get a drink, and when we finally did, they were poorly made. The staff behaved strangely and unprofessionally, which made the entire night uncomfortable. Overall, the service was awful, and the experience was nothing like what this venue used to offer.
Something is clearly wrong here. Sadly, we won’t be returning. :(

Holy fire code violation. Went to the New Years Eve party. WAY too many people. It took 30 to 40 minutes to get a drink, could barley move around. Service was horrible, and honestly the staff seemed overwhelmed and unorganized. After watching the Swiss fire incident, I hope they reduce the amount of people. This is just greed at some point.I will be trying to get my money back. Not worth $116 a person.

We spent New Year's Eve there. Seating cost $160 per person, which was supposed to include a glass of champagne and a toast at midnight... but we received neither. However, the biggest rip-off was this: we were a group of eight people. Upon arrival, one of us went to the bar to get a bottle of Veuve Clicquot champagne for $300 (which sells for $54 in stores 😥😥😥). He paid for it at the bar. Later in the evening, another person in our group ordered another bottle from a waitress, which was served directly to our table. When we were leaving, they tried to make us pay for both bottles. We had a terrible time getting a refund. Completely dishonest.

Recently attended their Gadsby New Years Eve party. It was like they were surprised everyone who bought a ticket showed up. First we waited in line 30+min to get in, and that was the VIP line. Then we waited at least an hour to get a drink. That was standing in line at the bar and finally hijacking a server from another table. They had 2 bartenders for hundreds of people. The icing on the cake was the staff carried dirty garbage bins back and forth through the congested VIP tables bumping people with the nasty trash bins. All that for 1,000$. Wow at least the show was entertaining.

You will spend a lot because it looks nice. Drinks are mid, service is mid, music is mid.

Amazing staff who always have a smile on their face. Such a beautiful venue too!! Nothing like it in our area
