I absolutely love them,good southern food. I Would recommend them to anyone who loves good food as well as good customer service A+, I drive from Tampa to St.Pete every weekend for there specials only $10!!! Always grab 3 or more meals with a cool refreshing Michell Obama preferably large😂😂😁😁,all around great place to eat and well worth the money
Heavy’s is hands down the best soul food spot in the St. Petersburg area! I knew the food was going to be amazing the moment I saw the whole okra on top of the peas — just like my grandmother used to do. The smothered turkey wings were tender and full of flavor, and the collard greens and mac & cheese were both spot-on. I even grabbed a chitlin plate to go!

My first time here, the food was absolutely delicious, the staff were very courteous and made me feel like I was apart of their family. I’m from Saint Pete, but having been living in Orlando for many years, but felt right at home when I entered. initially I was looking for Atwater’s, but Heavy’s popped up and I am glad I made the choice to visit. The serving size was enough for 3 people.
