My family and I have been loyal customers of Homemade Rican Frituras since they were back on 54th Ave N years ago. Whenever we crave authentic Puerto Rican flavors, this is our absolute go-to spot.
The business is run by the owners, two young entrepreneurs who are incredibly kind and welcoming. You can tell they put their heart into every dish. Everything comes out fresh, piping hot, and with top-tier quality. Our personal favorites are the Mofongo de Churrasco and the alcapurrias, they are simply spectacular!
Please note that the food might take a little bit of time, but that is 100% understandable because everything is made from scratch. You are paying for quality and freshness here, and it is well worth the wait. I’m constantly recommending them to all my friends in the area. If you want real 'comida boricua' in Pinellas County, you have to stop here. 100% recommended!

Best mofongo I’ve had in 20 years and the 2nd best in my life which will be almost impossible to beat. Heavy on the garlic and filled with real ‘chicharron’. Other places just mash plantains and call it mofongo which imo isn’t authentic. The fried pork bits were amazing as well and not dry. Only issue was no seating which is understandable as it’s a food truck.

This place was superb!! We ordered the Munchie box #3 for delivery and it was outstanding!! Everyone loved it!! By far the best mofongo in town, hands down!! I called to ask a question and they were so nice over the phone I cannot wait to visit them again. We LOVED the food and will become regulars from now on! Wepa!! Gracias!! 🇵🇷

We had tripleta and mofongo with onion and green peppers chicken breast and we absolutely love it!! It was so tasty and the passion fruit juice have actually pepitas!! So yummy I recommend this place if you are craving puertorrican food. Kalia was so nice and answered all my questions.

Stumbled upon this truck while at the gas station. I'm not one for food trucks but the food smelt lovely so I gave it a try. Just a simple yellow rice, grilled chicken and sweet plantains. It was the best 'fast' food I've tasted in a long time. Everything was freshly cooked and very tasty. The portion size more than generous. I'd highly recommend this place. Also loved the music and the little dancing girls 💜💜
