My whole office ordered from here for lunch and anyone that asked for modifications got their order wrong. I drove there to have my order fixed and spoke to FOH and manager, I was understanding and polite. The manager told me she'd remake it for me and i confirmed that I didn't want cheese or sauce. Well, I got back to my office and there is sauce all over it. Impressive to mess up that hard. Lost a whole office of customers on this one.

1st time visitor. El Jefe salad was awesome. The amount, and size, of meat in the salad was impressive. The quality of the cheese was astounding. The pastry, on the side, must of had 100 layers of flaky beautiful tender ...

Absolutely love this place! La Segunda Bakery in St. Petersburg is a gem. The space is always clean and welcoming, and the staff are friendly, professional, and really know their stuff. You can tell they care about both the food and the customer experience.

I highly recommend the Cuban sandwich—it’s authentic, perfectly pressed, and packed with flavor. The beef and chicken empanadas are delicious and flaky, and the cheese and guava turnovers are the perfect sweet treat to end your visit. Every bite tastes fresh and homemade. I would have added more pictures, but we ate everything.

Definitely worth a stop, whether you're a local or just visiting. I’ll be back soon!

Visited Fort DeSoto from Orlando and wanted to eat a Cuban sandwich and randomly chose this café.
Let me tell you, I’ve had my fair share of Cuban sandwiches, but nothing and I mean nothing, comes close to the one I just experienced. This was not just a sandwich, it was a perfectly balanced symphony of flavors and textures.
First, let’s talk about the bread: golden, pressed to crispy perfection, with just the right amount of crunch on the outside while still pillowy soft on the inside. It held everything together without overwhelming the filling, exactly how Cuban bread should be.
Then came the meats. Juicy, flavorful, and expertly layered. The roast pork was tender and seasoned to perfection, bursting with garlicky mojo. The ham added a savory depth, and the salami (yes, they added that Tampa touch) brought a subtle spice that made each bite sing. Topped with just the right amount of melted Swiss cheese, tangy pickles, and a swipe of yellow mustard, it was a flavor bomb.
But what truly set it apart was how everything was in perfect harmony. Nothing overpowered, nothing fell short. The ingredients melted into each other with every bite, but still let each element shine on its own. You could taste the love and tradition in every crunchy, juicy, satisfying mouthful.
This sandwich wasn’t just a meal, it was a blissful experience. A true Cuban classic, elevated to something unforgettable.

1st time here and we're Puerto Rican and Dominican! The Cuban was 100% official! Empanadas were super delicious perfect seasoning and awesome customer service!!!
