This place is phenomenal. Aside from the super friendly people working, La Segunda has the best cuban I've had in St Pete. Fresh baked cuban bread, and incredible pastries.
I will say I was slightly less impressed with the other sandwiches I tried (chicken was a little dry, etc). Stick with that cubano (and pastries).

I really loved having a La Segunda within walking distance of our hotel—it was so convenient! That said, this location isn’t quite the same as the original. It’s missing a few items in the display cases that you’d typically find at the main establishment.

Still, if you’re looking for the highlights, they’ve got them—especially the bread, sandwiches, and some pastries. The guava flip, in particular, was my favorite and definitely the most enjoyable treat. While it’s not an exact replica of the original, it’s a solid spot to grab some of the classics La Segunda is known for.

Ordered for the first time, delivery. The ybor muffaletta was fantastic as was everything else we ordered. The add ons and specific requests were spot on. Absolutely delicious. I love that this local company is getting the credit they rightly deserve! Big fan! Thank you La Segunda! ❤️

The restaurant was nice enough, but the food disappointed me. I had the blackened chicken sandwich—decent, kinda dry. However, they had the worst guava pastry I have ever tasted. I didn’t even know it was possible to get that wrong. Please, do better.

Absolutely delicious! The Cuban sandwich was incredible and the guava flip with a cafe con leche was a perfect combo. Friendly staff and great prices. Thank you!

I love La Segunda! Delicious cafe-style Cuban cuisine. Counter ordering with table-side food service. Their breakfast sandwich is my favorite, potato balls are a must (papa's de renas), and the pastries selection is the best around.
