The restaurant is really something special and not just a restaurant that you visit every day.
The prices are in the normal to slightly higher range.
The ambience is to die for, cozy, warm, chic and inviting.
The food tastes excellent. The meatloaf is to die for.
The noodles are wonderful!
The staff waiters are very attentive and kind.
The selection is small but the food is fresh and of high quality!

I really liked the atmosphere. It's a classy, dimly lit lounge where you can sit with friends, have a drink and enjoy great conversation late into the evening. My experience with the staff wasn't great and it's pricey, but if you can get past that It's got a fun vibe.

We really enjoyed the customer care provided by Ms. Mollie. Mollie is new to the restaurant team and I appreciated her honesty in admitting that she doesn't know the menue as well as she would like. Despite that, she made great recommendations with the Lamb Hash and a dry rosé. She was also great about returning my friend's dirty martini and making sure the bartender made it to his liking. Overall, Mollie is very pleasant and professional. I am sure that the next time I return, she will be well established as a top wait staff.

This restaurant was one of my favorite meals of our two week trip. The cocktails are so fun. The shrimp cocktail was amazing. The service was perfect!

Anniversary Celebration - we had a condwrful Experience at Birch & Vine. Our martinis before dinner we divine. Doe diner service, Jared, was exceptional. He provided great dinner suggestions, as well as suggestions for our vacay! Out dinner was the very best we’ve have in the area. Flavors, textures, all combines for a Culinary delight. Dessert was so decadent. We were please and will be back again. Thank you all for an amazing evening.

Went there for Happy Hour on the Rooftop. Great views, great deal on drinks, and apps. Get there early, seats go fast

This restaurant has such a potential that is not living up to. It has a great rooftop bar and there is an eclectic vibe about the place. Unfortunately, the food and service don’t match it. It’s really no different than just about every other restaurant along Beach Drive. We started out with a platter to share, and no sooner had arrived… Within five minutes, my soup arrived. We barely had a chance to sample the platter. Two of us had fish, which was bland and not very tasty. My fish was served with kale and black rice… You could not distinguish one from the other. One of us ordered a salad, and it came along with the entrée. Bad timing all around. It seemed that every time we looked for our waiter. We could not find him. With so many other restaurants in St. Petersburg that are so much better, we will not be returning to this one.

Great eggs Benedict and Bloody Marys with excellent service. Lovely room with sophisticated vibe. Convenient valet parking.

My wife and I shared a meat/cheese board. Was one of the worst we've ever had. The cheese was still in the wrappers and the meat was so hard you could hardly chew it. Would not recommend.Much better places nearby.

This restaurant stole my credit card authorization form and started shopping all around Florida. Bank of America and the police are now investigating the restaurant and will hopefully fire the employee who stole the information, but save yourself the trouble and do not go to this restaurant!

We were headed to a restaurant near here with a party of nine. However, the restaurant could not accommodate us as I did not take reservations. They had over 2 hour wait on a Sunday evening, On Memorial Day weekend. We were walking around passing other restaurants and came across Birch and Vine. He asked the waiter if he could accommodate nine people and he said he probably could. Within a few minutes, he beckoned us up to their side outdoor deck. It was absolutely lovely. Our waiter was very attentive and informative. We started out sharing a Caesar salad which was very good. We also shared the calamari appetizer. It was excellent and lightly breaded. I asked our waiter for his suggestion between the grouper or the scallops. He said by far the thrilled scallops. He was absolutely right. They were served on a bit of cheesy grits. It was probably the best scallop meal I’ve ever had! Scallops were sweet and tender. I’m not typically a fan of grits, but these were fantastic.

We had a wonderful outdoor dinner which was thoroughly enjoyed. Waitstaff pleasant and attentive. Menu selections were pleasing and the food and presentation attractive and delicious.
