“We stopped by for a quick visit on our way back home to Fort Myers Beach, after a friend recommended it from 13 Barrels Kava Bar in the Fort Myers Beach/Sanibel area. I'm so glad we did! The people were incredibly kind and welcoming, including the kavatender. The well priced products were a perfect 10/10—smooth and very tasty! The atmosphere was fantastic, and the location was great. The bar itself was cute, clean, and inviting, with a wonderful aroma. If we're ever back in town, we will definitely stop by again. Thanks for having us! 🫶🏼“

“Gorgeous venue!! From the moment you walk in the foyer and see the amazing floor tile and upscale decor. Think old school social club with round cocktail tables, each lit with a beautiful crystal lamp. There are also several seating areas with couches. The drinks are great and the entertainment is top notch. The only thing better than all of this is exceptional staff. Everyone from the doorman to the servers to the amazing manager Derek were so nice and accommodating. They really went over and above to ensure that we were taken care of. You just don’t see this level of personal service much anymore and I can honestly say they made us feel special and welcome. This place is truly a gem and sure to become the iconic go-to venue in St Pete.“

“Sonata Restaurant is inside Mahaffey Theater and has its own moon in the middle of the restaurant. It was a beautiful place. We had one problem with drinks we wanted to order. They have no frozen drinks which was fine so we ask if we could get a sweet wine such as White Zinfandel or Moscato that did not have that either. Every restaurant always has at least White Zinfandel wine. So we asked for Sangria. Did not have that either. They really need to get a good sweet wine there. I had their baked grouper over risotto and the food was delicious with lots of good seasonings. My husband and daughter had the burger and it is was a little dry but the fries were delicious. Afterwords we went to the show Cirque Dreams Holidaze inside the Theater and walked right over from the restaurant. The restaurant location is in Downtown Saint Petersburg, Florida on the Tampa Bay waterfront which is breathtaking.“
