Went here on Friday night closer to closing time because there weren't as many options left available so late in the area. The service was impeccable to the person who took our order to the person at the window handing us our food. They did an amazing job.

Okay so. I go in 2 hours before close and order. Get to the window and a guy whispers into the guys ear and then he says we can’t make the order order something else. We do. Then they are all YELLING at eachother. Then we get home and see we were charged for a bunch of stuff we didn’t order, I call and no answer. I call the next day and they said since we paid w cash they have to send it to corporate. I wait 2 days. I call today to find out they didn’t send it until today, that I can’t get a refund since it wasn’t done the same day (I tried calling to check options) and that the only option is a check mailed to me in 7-10 weeks or COUPONS. Not a gift card, COUPONS. Now, i went in and the manager at the store said I could get a cash refund but i guess they were wrong. SUPER horrible. Drive to Tampa instead.

I tried the recommended Italian Beef sandwich. I don’t recommend it. $16 of luke warm soggy garbage. It fell apart in my hands trying to pick it up out of its gravy bath. I’m not sure why the bread isnt like what it’s like in Chicago. Cheap roll that can’t handle its meat or toppings.

Overpriced and not very good. The fries are outrageously expensive, but look like your standard, frozen crinkle cut fries. The tenders are ok when they are cooked right, if ever. The only thing they have going for them is the canned cheese sauce they put in a paper cup and charge your soul for.

Portillo’s should not exist.
