Portillo's St. Petersburg

Our family loves Portillo’s (we have been to many near Chicago as well as the Brandon location). This was our first visit to this location. Unfortunately there were issues with the order, the food itself, and the ordering kiosks weren’t sending orders to the kitchen, so after specifying our order, we had to take our receipt to the register, where it was entered incorrectly. So after ordering and paying twice, once we got our food, it was missing toppings, sauces, etc. and it was the greasiest meal ever. The burger was dripping with grease, as was the beef and cheddar croissant, and the gravy I ordered on the side was literally clear and tasted like oil. My husband tried to order a beer and waited five minutes, but no one was at the counter to take his order.

one of my favorite places to get a burger. it reminds me of Burger King if burger king was much better quality lol. I personally don't like Italian beef sandwiches, but I'll go out of my way for one of their burgers lol.

Love that they’re open late. Best burger and chili I’ve had in a long, long time. I like it better than In N Out 🍔. So good!

First time trying Portillo's. We will have to back again and try some of the sandwiches and other food. W just got the chopped salad with the chicken. It was fantastic!

The food is usually decent. A little pricy. But we tend to eat here a lot. However, I usually only get grilled chicken sandwhich and when they say “chargrilled” I didn’t realize they meant actually charred.

It used to be juicy and the last few times they’ve been dry, burnt, rubbery and almost impossible to eat. $9 for a burnt sandwhich doesn’t work for me.

I love that they have a vegan dog!
They have beer on draft, which I love having a beer with my hot dog.I do wish they offered a smaller size.But the value for the size you get is very good.
One of my daughters and I make it pretty much a weekly trip to portillo's
