This was my second time going to The Getaway and I was not in the best of spirits but my friend invited me back to grab some food and take in the views. She also has been to the Restaurant many times since she lives just a few blocks away. As we sat down the male server greeted us and advised my friend that we need to leave a card on tab before we order a meal. I used to love The Getaway. It was my go-to recommendation for out-of-towners, business associates, and friends alike. I looked forward to every visit. But after my most recent experience, I can’t believe how far this place has fallen—and how little respect it now shows its customers.
