Tiki Docks at Skyway Bar & Grill — Great Vibes, Great Time, Had to Uber Home Had an absolutely great time here. Got the Spice-Seared Ahi Saku which was solid, but honestly the real star of the show was the vibe. This place is PACKED with energy. Right on the canal, boats everywhere, that classic tiki bar atmosphere with good drinks flowing and a crowd that's clearly here to have fun. Met some great people, had way too good a time, and ended up calling an Uber home — which honestly is the sign of a great night out. Made... a LOT of trips to the restroom that night. Drinks were flowing and so was I, if you know what I mean. 3/5 — and trust me, I became a frequent visitor.
Parking 5/5 there is some secret parking way in the back where you can get naughty if needed! Plenty of parking, easy in and out. Outdoor seating on the water is unbeatable and the indoor AC is a nice break from the Florida heat. If you're looking for a fun spot with good energy and a lively crowd, this is it. Just maybe don't drive yourself — and maybe hit the restroom before you really get going.

I recommended this place to my coworkers today and regret that I did. When attempting to order the trio for takeout they denied us and told us it was dine in only but it does not state that on your website. Also, we asked to sub coleslaw for double fries and they would not allow it but kept the coleslaw instead of giving what was paid for. The shrimp in my order were old and refried. I am highly disappointed with this experience.

We stopped by for late lunch today, around 3:30. We were seated and waited about 15 minutes and no one ever came to get our order. We told the hostess and we moved over to the bar area. Once again waited about 15 minutes and no one came to get our order. I notified the bartender and she said she would get someone. After 5 more minutes we left. Would have loved to try the food but unfortunately will never return. The bad thing was they weren’t even busy. I noticed other reviews about this problem. They need new management evidently.

We visited with some friends that raved about the place. Bad thing restaurant was booked for private event for Saturday night. We waited in bar for 90 minutes for table. While waiting saw several spring breakers who had too much to drink. Bar tender was AWESOME, he told them they'd had enough. I love how he handled situation. After finally getting a table, we had a great server and food was delicious. Would recommend place.

Dreadful customer service. Ignored, waited 80 mins for a 30-45 min table. Checked in several times with updates that it would be a few more minutes. To eventually be told it would be at least another hour. Very disappointing, lack of communication.

I had been looking forward to trying Tiki Docks for some time and chose this location to host family and friends visiting from out of town. Unfortunately, it was a major disappointment. Our server seemed completely indifferent and made almost no eye contact, which created an unwelcoming atmosphere for my guests. The food was well below average; specifically, the Blackened Grouper Tacos lacked flavor and were drowned in sauce - could not identify any grouper in the taco, while the Buffalo Shrimp were significantly overcooked. It was embarrassing to bring out-of-town guests here given the poor quality of both the service and the meal. I will not be returning to this location.

We have been going here for years. The food quality used to be excellent. The last 3 times its way below acceptable quality and service has become sub par. It took over 1 hr to get drinks and order food last Sunday. The bar area was about 60% full. The grouper tacos were 1 small bite of grouper on a stale shell. 3 tacos were about like having a appetizer. Also, since when is a tip automatically added for a party of 6? I understand on large groups butbthis was not the case. Certainly disappointed.
We stopped in before heading to the airport to go home. We.are.so glad we did! Service and.food.where wonderful Jen our server was awesome walk us through the menu and was on point with her suggestions Food came.out fairly quick and everything was delicious Thank you Tiki Docks for a great experience. Next time we come down we will be back

Overall a great experience as a Tiki Bar and Restaurant. Terrific outdoor area to enjoy with an indoor restaurant as well. Great attentive service and plenty of theme appropriate drinks to choose from. As for the food, it's average. The Oysters were fresh and likely Gulf Oysters, so not as good as a blue point or colder water oyster in my opinion. It did come with some proper horseradish (hot) and what seems to be a terrific homemade cocktail sauce. The grouper tacos were reasonable in size and cane with some rice and beans. The black beans were average and the tortilla for the tacos also average. A decent dish, but not award winning. That all said. This is a terrific place and Eeyroe plans to visit again soon for that terrific Florida Tiki vibe.

This place is very nice. You have an inside or outside options. You're right there in the harbor, so if you're outside, there's a lot of things to look at while you're eating. The food is awesome. The ahi tuna appetizer is a must. We also had the combo basket which was very good and then the strawberry cake pie for dessert. Awesome! I recommend this place to anybody who comes to St. Petersburg and just is looking for some local cuisine.
