Outstanding Cuban restaurant. We were staying at the Perry and walked to El Siboney for an early dinner. It is a quaint, clean, and welcoming Cuban eatery with a very approachable menu. Service was fast and engaging. Ropa Vieja and stewed pork were both delicious. We took some Cuban sandwiches to go for our boat ride the following morning, which were also outstanding.
We enjoyed the food at El Siboney. I have no reference for Cuban food, so I don't know authentic or not, but I can say it was very tasty. From starters to deserts, all tasted very good. The steak dishes were delicious. The conch fritters were different than what I have gotten in key West, they were softer and has a juice inside which worked well with the conch pieces, I thought. Don't use the tartar sauce on the fried fish, just the lemon.
