Basin Seafood Market & Kitchen offers a pleasant dining experience with a focus on fresh seafood. The outdoor seating area is a lovely spot to enjoy a meal, especially on weekends when live entertainment is provided. The food is top-notch, with popular options like Fried Shrimp plate, Blackened Shrimp Basin Island Bowl, and lobster bisque. The seafood is mostly locally caught that day, ensuring freshness and quality. Customers have praised the fresh blue crabs, which are considered equal or better than Maryland and more reasonably priced. The restaurant also features a nice selection of fresh seafood in the market, including sea scallops and sheepshead, which can be taken home to enjoy later. The service is friendly, attentive, and helpful, making for a welcoming atmosphere. It is a small spot that is more casual than fancy, perfect for enjoying lunch or dinner without dressing up. A variety of seafood, including excellent fish & chips and lobster rolls, has earned high recommendations, and the overall experience emphasizes fresh, delicious seafood in a relaxed setting.
