I’m from ct and the New Haven style pizza is excellent here! My one complaint is that I couldn’t get the pizza I wanted. I asked for a large pie with mozzarella and tomato sauce, pepperoni on one half, bacon and shrimp on the other half. I’ve been to Pepe’s many times including the one in plantation Fl and they do it no problem. I know the owner used to work at Pepe’s years ago and this place should be willing to accommodate. Some visits may be disappointing, with the restaurant running out of items like bread, food coming out too quickly, and a feeling of being rushed in and out. While the food is good and worth the cost of admission, bringing your wallet is advised. Many find the experience fantastic and recommend it highly, planning to return soon.
