Cut 38 Steakhouse

Discrimination towards people of color. Husband and I went to go and dine, husband had on shirt with no sleeves but definitely not sloppy. Was told could not dine there due to that. Child and mother sitting inside with what looked like beach bum attire, in addition 3 woman sitting at table with sleeveless tank tops barely covered. After eating across the street , I decided to go back in and ask for manager Dave. While waiting for him, glanced over and saw a woman with shorts on. Clearly there is NO DRESS CODE, ONLY FOR US. They did me a favor, wouldn't spend my hard earned money in there..

I have eaten at Cut 38 several times in the last feew years. The steaks are about the best I have ever had and though I dont care for fish normally, I often order their Salmon which is delicious. I find the service really good.

Cheap quality food.
Flies.
Manager was extremely rude.
Charging for convenience fee? Why
I would not reccomend this restaurant for anyone interested in quality food and quality of service.

I’ve seen better service at McDonald’s, went there and my food never arrived had to ask the waiter for it 5 times…. Never again

If you get there during happy hours you can order food for half price if the menu

Delicious food, wonderful service. We had several salads and lobster. Fantastic Key lime pie. Half price during happy hour!

We travel all across the US doing ministry and this was the best steak house this year. The steak, hamburger, and fries were superb. Highly recommend you give it a try

A good friend suggested to go for dinner to this restaurant. I read a few of the negative reviews which made me a bit hesitant. So, let me share my very positive experience. First we were greeted by Joshua who was also our waiter, he brought our drinks and allowed us to enjoy the conversation. Returned to take the order, everything came hot, well presented and exactly as we wanted; burger was cooked to perfection, salmon also perfect, side dishes all good. By the way, if you are looking for freshly made and not from a frozen package french fries, this is the place. Joshua was attentive without being pushy, had a great disposition with a "can do attitude" and also very interesting conversation. Finished with bread pudding which was divine! The place has a rectangular bar, outside seating and also indoor. Outside seating will get you the ocean breeze... Will be back and very soon, Joshua please have a table ready for us!

Be aware!!!! Definitely not recommended service is awful, there was 5-6 people at the bar with 2 bartenders still after taking my seat I had to wave to the bartender to take my order because she was on the phone. I ordered an old fashioned had to return o after 2 sips it was really bad but I still saw it on the check. Most interesting part is, when I got the check I gave them my Discover cc to pay they said they don’t accept completely understandable but still they have to put a sign at the entrance that they don’t accept discover. I gave them my phone to the Apple Pay and they said they don’t have tap payment option either bartender she called the manager blonde Russian guy he came to me without saying hi or anything first thing he said was we don’t accept discover or tap payment if you don’t have any other physical card I have to call the police. I told him I don’t have and by law if he doesn’t accepts certain type of payment he or staff has to inform before taking order or put a sign at entrance and he said by law he doesn’t have to. I said okay I’m offering you 2 type of payment which is very common you are not accepting and first solution is calling the cops go ahead and call them. There was 7 cop cars all around the place all the guests got uncomfortable and he ended up accepting my tap payment option and getting warned by the cop to put a sign at entrance. Definitely unprofessional especially in hospitality you got a find a solution for your guest not going and telling them by law you are right and you gonna call the police and ended up getting yourself and the place embarrassed in front of all the guests making people uncomfortable.

Rude people. Did not comply with ADA requirements to allow service dogs [even outside). Don’t patronize this place. The food looked terrible although I wasn’t allowed to be served and the premises were not clean.

The owner accused me of using the wrong bathroom. Said to me the men’s bathroom is over there. I know he is extremely short but I don’t look like a man just because I am taller than him. You don’t do these things in 2025. How dare he speak to anyone like that. Then he said he had bad eyes. Give me a break! He has a very rude manner as a restaurant owner! The manager offered us a dessert and a round of drinks. The owner did not honour this gesture. He needs a lesson in manners and customer respect. He is out of touch!!! Food is ok and the staff are great. He is the only problem. Shame on him.
