I had never had bad Mexican food until now. I’m Latin myself, Cuban to be exact. I love Mexico, it’s people and it’s culture. I’ve been to Mexico a few times, loved it every time. And then my wife decided we should visit Bandoleros. Warm and attentive Ecuadorian waitress. ( I asked). To begin, we ordered Micheladas. We liked the food and service and atmosphere. Smashed burger was especially delicious.
Our problem is with the automatic 18% service charge added to bill. We were only 2 people so it really surprised us. And then when we get to pay, there’s an option to give more of a tip.
I don’t like being forced to pay a so-called service charge. Personally, I think it’s bad business. That said, the food was good and service was very good.
