The staff here is top notch especially the bartender. He took the time to educate us on various wines and scotch. The food is delicious as well as the deserts. Tough trying to park with construction going on, but worth trying.

I'm always impressed when I eat here. The food is pricey, for sure, but it's worth the money if you appreciate good food. The last time I visited I had oysters that were ~$1.50 each which is very reasonable, and the oysters were incredibly clean and delicious. Much better than the oysters at Birds.

After a reception near the capital, one of the leaders of our group highly recommended this restaurant- as she had dined here enjoyably many times before. The atmosphere was cool and comfortable, and the hostess greeted us nicely and our large group of 13 was accommodated quickly. This is where things started to go downhill. Nearly half the group was not asked about drinks to accompany the meal. It was not until after the first round of beverages were served to the chosen few, that I was able to wave the waiter over and request a drink for myself. Of which, I was only attended to once for a refill and was informed at that time that the venue was out of cherry grenadine and that they could only offer me a regular Pepsi in place of my beverage. Also concerning the drinks, I was not the only one in my group who was left dry waiting for refills. When waving down the waiter, he seemed severely annoyed with not only my requests, but the requests of those in my party. For an appetizer, I ordered some of their seared sea scallops. These... We're delicious. Melt in your mouth soft, and the accompanying sauce was rich and creamy. If I were ever to return to this establishment, I would order these again. But that is where my praise for their food ends. I ordered their braveheart burger with mushrooms and Brie cheese. After waiting quite a lengthy amount of time, the food arrived... However, the burger was severely burnt. Granted, I did order medium well... However the entire outside of the burger was charred and blackened- the meat, flavor of the sauteed mushrooms and even the Brie cheese were completely masked. This same situation happened with two others in my group. I am normally not one to be so picky with food, (having only returned a burger once before) but at the behest of my associates, we each requested a replacement. We waited for a full 20 minutes for the replacement meals to arrive... Fortunately, my burger was much less charred and blackened... But still, the burnt smell and taste was pervasive. It was at least palatable, unlike the replacements my associates received. Had our entire group not been finishing with their meals at this point, we would have returned these burgers as well. I understand that we had a large group which I know can be difficult to wait on, but the quality of the food and the attitude of the waiter was poor at best. Our group leader who accompanied us (who, as previously mentioned, dined here several times) even mentioned her distaste for how the meals and service turned out. 3/10, will not be returning.

Very disappointed with everything at this restaurant. When I went with my parents every steak was unavailable and the duck and lamb. My boyfriend and I both ordered steaks for us to find out 20 min later that they were out of both and just cooked the last few for other customers so we had the choose new dishes! I picked the scallops with angel hair and lemon cream sauce... when I received the dish no sauce was on it at all just dry noodles but the scallops were done well. My stepdads fish was significantly over cooked to the point where it had to be sent back which we never do. Took us about 20 minutes to get the check after we finished everything and we were there already for two hours with the running out of everything fiasco. Granted it was parents weekend so they were busy, with the amount of reservations they received they should've bought enough meat for their weekend. We went to many other restaurants that were amazing and handled the amount of volume so it's not really an excuse when you are paying so much money. Paid too much money for disappointing customer service, no options to choose from, and disappointing flavors in general.
