I strongly recommend this place. I literally have had all flavors and all of them are amazing. My favorite flavor is Chocolate Sunflower. The owner treated me like her friend even though I am an Asian and had strong English accent. I enjoyed the best home made Ice cream! Arigato!!!

If you’re looking for a treat that goes beyond the usual, Barb’s Brittles is the place to be! This ice cream and candy shop crafts all their ice cream and sweets from scratch, and the love they put into their creations shines through. I had the pleasure of trying their Rum Craisin ice cream, and it was nothing short of delicious – creamy, rich, with a perfect balance of rum flavor and sweet raisins. The texture was spot on, and you could tell it was freshly made.

Whether you're craving unique ice cream flavors or handmade sweets, Barb's Brittles is definitely worth a visit. A true gem in Tallahassee for anyone with a sweet tooth!

FRESH is the first word that comes to mind. You’ll never find any store bought ice cream with the consistency or flavor that these ice creams have. These are truly made with love, talent and fresh ingredients. I would sit and eat the whole bucket if I could. I also had a popsicle and a coffee chocolate truffle and they were amazing. I planned on saving the chocolate truffle for later, but after nibbling on it, I decided I didn’t have enough self control to save it. This place is great. I highly recommend giving it a try.

I was so excited when I first saw this shop because it looked so cute at first and was happy to support a smaller business, but I was greatly disappointed. I bought an icecream for my mom and myself and it was $9.68 for those two tiny behind scoops on a cheap sugar cone at that. The lady made the cone before even telling me the price.. If I knew that small little bit would be THAT much, I wouldn’t have bought it and not only that they tasted like nothing.. I got the peanut butter flavor and my mom got the red velvet and seriously, nothing and the texture was bad too. I could have easily went to cold stone for a way better price and amount. Lowkey felt rushed too because when we came in and the lady asked what we were wanting we said we were looking and not even a minute later she was asking again, like can we look first?? We just walked through the door :/ The candies did look good and I may go back to try that, but the ice cream is an absolute no for me and my mom.

What a cute ice cream , brittle and chocolate shop, me and my bf came across while visiting Tallahassee and walking by the lake. So glad we did. What a cute spot. Ms. Barb's is so welcoming. She told about her her shop and the history of how they started. We ordered ice cream -the chocolate virgin and vanilla cone- both were so yummy all homemade. Plus, I got brittle, fudge and cookies to go. What a pleasant surprise and shop.

I walked in here and I feel like I was treated differently because I am not black. The lady did not let us try any ice cream and we payed almost 10 dollars for two cones that were the size of a ping pong ball. The couple ahead of us was actually treated with a welcoming attitude ( they were african american). I dont know if it was just me though but the vibe was really weird. This is also the only review I have ever written
