An amazing cafe tucked away in a corner at Lake Ella. Extremely cheap pricing, an amazing view and super friendly staff make this place a must visit! Had ordered the large hot chocolate and soup of the day (Turkey with root veggies). The hot chocolate was not overwhelmingly sweet, which can easily eat up your ceremony for it. Best atmosphere for a coffee shop in town. Been coming here since 2006. Owner and staff alike are extremely friendly and the outdoor seating is perfect for any weather with their recently added deck covering. ALSO- the cinnamon rolls available on the weekends. Shout out separately to three sons bakery for those. Wow. Pretty sure it’s one of the few places around to find em.

The only place to go for coffee! This is my favorite coffee shop in town, I have never had a negative experience at Black Dog. The baristas are super kind and personable, the coffee is consistently fantastic, and the community is unbeatable. I will often grab coffee and go for a walk at Lake Ella and always meet someone kind on my stroll to strike up conversation with. Unbeatable atmosphere, I always feel safe walking around here.
