“I’m new to the area so when I asked a friend where good jerk chicken is they Told me to try this place out and I’m so happy I did. It is so good I Haven’t had decent jerk chicken in a long time I highly suggest this place the portions are Great, and the flavor is amazing You can get any meat with two sides for only eight bucks. The mac & cheese is amazing and the collard greens are great. I’m definitely coming back to this place.“
“Went to Tastee Turkey LEG and oh my GOD, we were not disappointed. Great decor, super chill atmosphere, and the food??? Absolutely fantastic. We got the standard turkey leg (the meat was just falling off the bone it was so tender), a side of collard greens and Mac and cheese, and some spicy j*** wings with a side of fries. Everything was so yummy and the drinks were matching the energy! Pretty strong, but not in taste - not too sweet and we downed them pretty quickly. Check out this black owned business! The owner and his wife were serving us and were attentive and lovely to talk to. 10/10 experience overall. Will definitely be back.“
“I always see the sign for this place going home from work so today I finally decided to try this place on my lunch break. It was AMAZING , service was very friendly and the portions are HUGE for the cost of the meal ( I will have plenty leftovers), I ordered the curry goat and a side order of plantains. I was very happy with my first visit and I will be coming back for sure! I suggest you do as well :)“
“Seriously good smoked meats here. I had the j*** chicken. I don't know if j*** chicken is cooked slow in a smoked fire, but if it isn't, it should be! The dinner came with moist meat-falling-off-the-bone chicken slathered with j*** sauce and two sides. Both the side of beans and side of stewed cabbage were great. It was at least a half chicken. So good, it will make your toes curl.“
“Atmosphere is outside. Small shade tents, but if it were raining, it would've been a drag.I only had the jerk chicken & 2 sides.Jerk Chicken written in red on the regular menu. I take that as a sign.Sides were, Yellow Rice, and 'no pork' Collards. I'm Jewish....All of it ends up being wet and messy in a styrofoam clamshell inside a white grocery bag. (!!!)IMHO modest prices, AND, more food than one human has any business eating in one sitting. You could easily feed 2 with an extra side.Insane flavor. Bone-in chicken, skin on, with only a fork to navigate... I ended up wasting enough to feel jealous. At least I'm not over stuffed. That could've easily happened.Food truck with a barely muffled generator going the whole time. Parking lot was tight for our 20' camper van.If only these folks were also in Panama City Beach, where we are headed. I could see making many trips, working through this generous menu.Food was an incredibly tasty 3 napkin mess. I can't recommend it highly enough. I do not impress easily. These folks impress, and are serving heaven in styrofoam.Go get ya some. SO GLAD we didn't find parking at other places nearby.Serendipity paid w dividends here.“
