Casa Grande has become a reliable staple in the Tallahassee dining rotation, hitting that specific balance of consistency and comfort that I look for in a mid-week meal.
βThe atmosphere stays true to form, offering a relaxed environment that manages to be both approachable and well-maintained. It is the type of place where the service is predictable in the best way possible—efficient, attentive, and without any unnecessary friction.
βWhen it comes to the food, the kitchen consistently delivers on the fundamentals. The queso maintains a smooth, reliable texture, and the standard taco plates are prepared with a focus on fresh ingredients and proper portioning. Whether opting for the street-style preparations or the more classic combinations, the seasoning profile is always balanced. It is a solid choice when you want a meal that hits the mark every time without needing to overanalyze the menu.
Fast service, food quality was great, and the Guacamole Live was awesome!
Waiter was not around. We waited ten minutes to order food. Margaritas were flavorless. Seemed no alcohol in it. Tacos had very little meat and were soft but ok. Burrito had very little meat in it and had a white gummy cheese sauce poured over it. Not busy, but very loud. Disappointing.

Average at this location.
Food was fresh and delicious. Food was reasonable priced I was able to get a margarita and spend less than 30$ with the birria street tacos and riced. Very clean and neat establishment. I will be going back soon.

The food was absolutely amazing! The owner was personally involved and actively managing the restaurant, which made the experience even better. I'm in Tallahassee for four days, and I already know I'll be coming back before I leave. I give this place a 10 out of 10. It's honestly one of the best Mexican restaurants I've ever eaten at. I live in Miami and travel to Mexico regularly, so I have high standards when it comes to authentic Mexican food. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Highly recommend!

Worse Mexican Restaurant I've ever been to.
Food and service were great. Maybe because it was Cinco de Mayo but the music was extremely loud. I look forward to going again and enjoying another meal there.
