“The owner was a very nice we enjoyed speaking to him usually they think their to good he didn't . He was even polite after I told him the food wasn't good because I forgot I told him it was my fault! I forgot to tell them no pickles,ketchup or mustard !!! Yucky.... But everything else was terrific“

“I was coming to give a big shout to the DQ at 2227 N Monroe St because my family and I visit quite often and the staff here always so nice. We have never had any issues with the food or the service. I am very disturbed by a review that i just read that was penned by Ms. Q Carter because i remember the Sunday in question because my wife and I were behind Ms Carter in the drive thru and we both remember her because she was screaming at the lady in question, but the tap she claimed she did with her umbrella was quite a bit more because she broke her umbrella and almost broke the window. They closed the window because of the profanity that was being hurled at them by Ms Carter my wife was in the process of calling 911 for the employees but she pulled off. when we got to the window we made sure that the employees did not need the police and we tipped them all for keeping thier cool and how they handled her, we are local business owners and we are also black, it is so disturbing that someone in this day and age with everything going on in the world would stoop so low as to use the race card SHAME ON YOU Ms Carter. Thank you DQ on N Monroe for ALWAYS treating me and my family just like family. We will always be faithful customers at this location because of this, Keep up the good work.“

“I was traveling from Gainesville and needed food in a pinch. I hesitated coming because I hadn't been to a dairy queen in yearsss. I am so happy I chose this over mcdonalds down the road. It was the best fast food burger i have had in a while! It was so hot and delicious. The staff was great 10/10“

“Great food. Lots of good veggies on #5. Only complaint is we try to avoid plastic and waste. We bring our own spoon for blizzards and when ordered asked for NO spoons. They didn't listen and we got needless spoon. All of us have plastic in our brains... and more in dementia patients. We throw away 500,000,000 straws a day...so this is a real issue. We love coming here but we had MORE one-use trash than food. We don't need 15 napkins. We can get more if needed. We don't need lids on our blizzards...they aren't runny? Thanks. Otherwise great service. Update September 2025. Much less plastic thanks! Eating in allowed us to avoid the plastic lids. We didn’t need straws and brought our own spoons. Easy! Thanks. Changing to 5 stars.“
