Stopped here for drinks and appetizers and was not disappointed! Been meaning to make my way to this venue and will most definitely be back. 10/10 The patio view is to die for!

My service dog and I just got asked to leave because he wasn’t wearing a vest. When I educated them on ADA laws, the manager, Kris, got nasty with me and told me I HAD to leave. When I asked her who the manager was she said “Me.” Then when I asked her who her supervisor was she said “figure it out.”

We waited for more than one hour, the waitress did not even ask our name or phone nome for control. Elevator was down. The place is beautiful but the service is awful!

My husband and I had drinks and food on the balcony at Eve on Adams. The service was friendly and excellent. The seared tuna appetizer was excellent. The Hendricks dirty martini and Cristalino tequila were excellent. The prices were reasonable. The view and atmosphere romantic.

All of the guests of the bar were kicked out immediately at 9:19 PM without explanation. The bar does not close until 10 PM. It seems like it could have been premeditated because the guests were all served drinks in plastic cups. It was rude to tell everyone to leave without an explanation. The guests were professionals and tourists staying at the DoubleTree hotel. Tallahassee is a hospitality and service centric community. Tonight's experience was exceptionally bad, 0 out of 10.

On 9/21/24, I dined here with a party of 10. The outside dining area was fair, but humid and stuffy which brings to question why there are no ceiling fans or ventilation as this is Florida. Most important was the subpar service. The waitress quoted us a price for the special of the day and when we received our bills, they showed $3/each more for the special than what was quoted by the waitress. That's not an absorbant amount, but it adds up when most of the party ordered the special. When questioned, the waitress reviewed the bill and blatantly lied, claiming the difference to be tax, when the taxed amount was clearly applied after the listed price and printed below, which prompted her to go and check. She returned and explained that she quoted the amount that was written on the the board, but that the quoted amount was incorrect and the billed amount was correct. She made no effort to correct the bills after initially fabricating a reason for the difference, then admitting to an error.....leaving us to pay for her/their error. Then after taking our payments, she returned to the table and wished us a goodnight.....yet she hadn't returned our credit cards. I understand it was busy and she was rushed and in a panic ,but this place needs to better train their servers as this wasn't the worst experience, but fell well below expectations and was highly unprofessional. I've received better service at nearby places that have lesser prices, better service, and a more comfortable environment!! Never again!! Oh! the special is no listed below. We had the stuffed Salmon and fried devil eggs.

This has been the worst possible experience at a restaurant in a long time.

First of all, I don’t write reviews. I’d rather simply leave a one-five star depending on the way my experience was at a restaurant but this one definitely takes the trophy for the worst possible experience. Everything that could’ve gone wrong in this visit went wrong.

We had a party of 16 people for my girlfriend's birthday and called a week ahead of the planned date to make sure we could accommodate everyone accordingly. The suggestion was to not make a reservation and just come the day of the birthday since it was a Monday night and sit everyone in separate tables but close to each other. We did exactly as suggested and arrived 15 minutes before our guests to set everything up. The hostess welcomed us in an “okay” manner before leading us to our table. Not even a “good evening how are you doing” or anything of that matter, she instantly went with the words “There are no servers at this time so all of the food you will have to get from the bar”. That’s not out of the ordinary so no problems this far. We followed instructions and ordered a filet and some drinks at bar that were really good. The bartender was really polite and even helped with some shareable recommendations. Food arrives and instantly the hostess (not the bartender because we sat down after we ordered) immediately asks me to cut the filet to make sure it was properly cooked. Again, nothing strange but a little bit concerning considering it is a high-quality restaurant that’s suppose to have good chefs. Our guests start arriving and only one of the guests arrives in time to get some nachos before they closed the kitchen. The rest of them ordered drinks and we were having a really good time before everything started to go downhill. Keep in mind that we were the only group sitting down at the tables because the rest of the people were either at the bar or on the outside. My gf’s friends started taking pictures with her next to the outer rooftop windows because they had a nice view and also since the hostess had told us that we were not allowed to go outside for photos because it was closed but there was people eating outside. This was said in a scolding way and with little respect toward her friends. One of them had a digital camera and he was not allowed to take photos with it but the phone’s camera was allowed. This started to get out of proportion because we were respectful with what she said and as a group we were making sure to not be loud or make anyone else that was not part of our group uncomfortable. To put this in a perspective of our time spent inside the restaurant, we brought out our own birthday cake and wanted to sing happy birthday around 9:10-9:20 (restaurant was supposed to close at 10pm) and the hostess said that we were not allowed to sing happy birthday and had to immediately leave because they were “closed”. The same hostess that was talking to everyone else at the restaurant but treating us unfairly. It is one thing to kick a group for not adhering to the code of conduct of a restaurant and that would make sense but this woman kicked us out because she just felt like it. Her excuses were that we did not order drinks (the majority of the party had drinks) and me with my gf spent more than $70 in food so that didn’t make sense whatsoever. I don’t like to bring this topic into discussion but I genuinely feel that we were racially targeted and the woman just felt the need to only kick us out early (30 mins before closing) and having no justified excuses to do it and claiming the place was fully closed while they were people sitting at the bar and at the outside.

This restaurant is seriously mistreating their clientele and I would not ever recommended anyone to come to this place because of the lack of professionalism and customer service. I wouldn’t want anyone else to go through what we went through.
