“The food is incredibly fresh and delicious! Large portions-I had the chicken shawarma , my daughter's had the chicken kabobs and salmon. We also had a beer (many great choices on tap) and it came with a frozen beer head that kept it cold. For dessert we shared a rice pudding and it was dreamy. Service was great, food is cooked to order so expect a little wait, but oh so worth it.“
“Our meal was delicious - hummus, falafel, Greek salad and lentil soup. The restaurant itself is a bit sparse and basic - I guess I envisioned something a little more than the pine tables and benches. The space accommodated easy conversations, which I always appreciate. Our server was friendly and attentive. We each ordered a glass of wine, and I will say it was disappointing to receive the very small amount of wine that was served, it was probably 4 ounces for $9.00. Overall, everything was very nice and a very enjoyable meal.“
“I had the signature pasta which is only available on the weekends. It was absolutely spot on delicious. I also had the grilled lamb gyro with the basmati rice. This was the best gyro I can ever recall having. The manager and employees were extremely nice and knowledgeable. It was a very clean restaurant and it had an extremely clean restroom which I very much appreciate.“
“I visit Captain Pete's every time that I am in Tallahassee. I live in the Virgin Islands. Gyro Deluxe is my go to order. Always a warm fresh wrap, plenty of gyro meat, feta cheese and the BEST tomatoes with lettuce. I'll be back at Captain Pete's on my next visit.“
“We tried the original lamb gyro and the gyro supreme. We preferred the original lamb gyro compared to the supreme but both tasted good and fresh. The prices listed on their website aren't the same prices they charge at the drive through, so be aware of that. I would recommend though!“
“By far one of the best Greek restaurants I've had the pleasure of dining in! Sec m service was kind, warm & friendly, clean, quiet & inviting. Lastly the food...OMG... I've never been to Greece ?? however when I close my eyes and imagine what the did would be like (THIS IS IT)! Fresh, tasty, made to order, (FULL) of flavor & the cinnamon, honey tea it to die for! Lord have mercy! Let's just say it's my first time here and Arnold said it best "I'LL BE BACK!" I'm also be recommending this place to everyone I know! Thank you so very much! ?“
