Tallahassee Gem! The food is delicious and experience is unique. Love the small quaint atmosphere with great African music videos playing on the entire wall!

Prepare to wait forever to even get seated, let alone be spoken to. Waited about 10 minutes. No one. Atleast tell me how long it's gonna be. Not like there was a line ahead of me either.

I don't know what they served us but that was not jollof rice. The lady messed up our order even after repeating it back to us multiple times. Try it for yourself, but I wouldn't recommend

Very nice and very scrumptious egusi! You could tell the restaurant itself was also designed with care.

Delicious food, friendly service, and nice decor. I got a stew served with fufu. Wonderful flavors and a fun experience dipping the fufu into the stew.Vegetarian options: Each section had vegetarian options. My mom & sister who are both vegan were very happy with the selections.Kid-friendliness: They have an assortment of board games and yummy fruit teas that we all enjoyed.

Really wanted to like this place... but I was disappointed.Server was high or something, she spoke very quietly (there's loud music in there too) and kept forgetting what we said immediately after we said it. No napkins utensils anything. Wait for the food was not bad at all, but there were very few people in there. One order of fufu came out first and it must have been sitting for quite a while because it was so sticky you couldn't eat with it. Fresh batch came out and it was better, usable at least.Food was okay. Other than the fufu troubles, the stews were decent.Portion size to price was not great. 20$ for a bowl of okay stew is too much for me. If it was better quality, or larger portion, I wouldn't have much of an issue but it is quite literally one standard bowl of stew for 20$.Atmosphere is cool, the front of the place has wine, hot sauce, jewelry and more for sale. All of it is pretty cool and unique and maybe they should just stick to that.Place is pretty tiny, lots of chairs are backless and it is tight. There were only a few people in there but it still felt cramped.Drinks were good and well priced.

Service was okay and atmosphere was great!!!!! The smells coming from the kitchen were so good! I really wanted to love this place but I have to be honest. The dish that me and my daughter shared was the Injera & Shiro with gomen. The injera was hard (stale) around the edges, the shiro had no flavor and the gomen was DELICIOUS but there was just a little of it sprinkled on top. I was also very excited to try the side of jollof rice but it tasted like the pre-made kind that comes in a bag and you heat it up in the microwave.Again, I love the flavors of Africa and was so excited a place like this opened in Tallahassee.
