I've had several great sushi rolls from Izzy in the past but the most recent time I went they were subpar. It feels like the place is going downhill like so many other restaurants do after a while in this town.
Izzy is definitely a vibe. Apps were fantastic and I ordered a roll and some nigiri. I will have dreams about that buttery fish. Also the food came out pretty quick. The waiter let us know it is better to go ahead and order everything so our food orders wouldn’t fall behind the other patrons that were walking in. Worked out great, will be back.
Some of the best sushi I ever had. Izzy’s has a very nice ambiance with high top and outdoor seating. They have a roll called the big easy…I never would’ve thought andouille sausage belonged on sushi, but wow that was absolutely delicious. We ended up getting dinner and a show with some random unhappy man that came in yelling for a minute or so, but I can confidently say I was more than impressed with their food again on my second visit here, they haven’t failed me, I...
