Hibachi chef always great. Last time I was here our server added an 18% tip without informing us (only a party of 3). Fortunately I noticed the credit card receipt was run for $25 more than the initially presented bill. That really turned me off that she wasn’t going to say something, and we would have actually tipped more than 18%. So just be careful here.

Overall good experience. Atmosphere is kind of quiet and sad but they make up for that with the tasty food. Had a late lunch with my wife, and got the Hawaii Maki, Naruto, Dancing Girl & Smoked Salmon & Mackerel sashimi. Some of the freshest fish Ive had so far in a sushi restaurant in Tallahassee. Id recommend Japanica and would definitely eat here again.

Really good food, it was pretty chill there! I ordered the teriyaki bento box. I loved the sushi, and the teriyaki. Even the rice!! Overall, this restaurant has good food and good employees. This is a good place to eat.

Best hibachi I've had here so far way surpasses Osaka especially for their prices too!! Sushi is great deal and always good too.
