We’ve enjoyed two visits to Leon’s this past month. On the first occasion, three of us enjoyed eating outside. Lovely to sit under the trees, overlooking Lake Ella. The she-crab soup and gumbo were especially tasty compared to the simpler salad and green goddess BLT. Only wish the dessert had not been sold out. On our next visit, two of us enjoyed the blackened shrimp and Gouda grits sandwich, fried tomato sandwich, soup (love that she-crab! Delicious.) and crème brûlée....
This place is a gem!! I ordered the Blackened Shrimp & Grits sandwich & She Crab Soup and they were both absolutely perfect! There was quite a line and the staff managed it flawlessly. The atmosphere is beautiful, I can't wait to go back!
Very disappointed. Descriptions sounded wonderful but the actual food was very small portions and plain. Ordered the she crab soup and Bao tacos. The soup tasted good but was a tiny portion for an enormous price of $12. (Was told 8oz but more like 4 oz) We've paid less for more in high end resturants.
The bao tacos were the size of a small half biscuit with a morsel of meat and not much else. Had to wait for a very long time while they served 3 other groups in front...
