Took my 6 year old granddaughter for her birthday. Worst experience ever… I’ll never go back. They definitely have an issue with false advertising. All hibachi meals come with white rice and if you want fried rice there’s a $3 up charge. My granddaughter ordered the kids chicken meal. They added a $3 up charge on her order too for fried rice. My bill came out to be about $58 and management struggled to explain what I paid for… definitely a language barrier. It’s not worth the money or time. I’ll just continue patronizing Nagoya’s… the food is better and you get more bang for your buck.

Food was good and the wait staff were very nice. The price is fairly reasonable for the amount of food you get.

Ordered a regular size chicken hibachi and a kids shrimp hibachi, only difference in portion was a few more cubes of chicken and a small salad about $10 difference which was questionable based on portions(see pic). If your looking for hibachi worth the price go down the street to Nagoyas, they never disappoint.....
Sushi isn’t bad. Habachi leaves a little to be desired. It’s dark and could use a little updating and cleaning.

We have been to many hibachi style restaurants. This is by far the most disappointing one. When we placed our order we were asked if we wanted chicken or miso soup, house or ginger dressing, and steamed or fried rice. All standard options at this type of restaurant. We did not notice, nor were we informed of, the upcharge for fried rice, which is something we've never experienced and wouldn't have expected.
Surprise charges aside, we nearly left early after having to squash a live roach that crawled across the table where they were about to prepare our dinner. Had we not been traveling all day and been exhausted we would have.
Overall the service was just ok. The chef was on par, and hibachi was decent. The salad was left uneaten by more than half of us and the miso soup was a bust.
I would recommend finding another option for dinner.

The food was great and the chef was kind. It's a little old interior, but I think I can understand it because this place has been around for 30 years.
Best sushi in Tallahassee imo. Comes with a great ginger dressing salad and soup. Say HI to the Cat of Good Fortune.

The sushi was pretty good, but the service sucks. Our waitress was very inattentive and we felt kind of ignored. When we got to the restaurant they were not busy and we were seated quickly, when we asked our waitress for a few minutes to look over the menu she said no problem - but then did not return for a really long time… once our sushi came out the sushi chef had made a mistake in including cream cheese on a roll that was not supposed to have any on it - this wouldn’t have been a big deal had our waitress come back to check on us but she didn’t…..my husband sat with a plate of sushi in front of him that he wasn’t going to eat for a good 20 minutes….the owner of the restaurant made a comment about our table having an issue to our waitress….and she chose to go greet other tables, grab other tables orders and do everything OTHER than coming to our table….thankfully the sushi chef noticed there was an issue and proceeded to remake my husbands sushi after speaking to him… our waitress went up to the sushi bar and looked very confused that we had another sushi order and my husband had to explain to her that the sushi chef had remade his food and told her he was going to eat his sushi quickly because we had been there for a long time…she leaves the check on our table and walks away - my husband walked up front to pay, making eye contact with our waitress - who quickly looked away and walked the other way to busy herself with something else. Everyone has an off night but this the 3rd time we come in and have this kind of service from THE SAME waitress…. We were closed out by another waitress and left…. not sure if I’ll be back - maybe I’ll just order to go next time….

The restaurant is quite dated. The food was average. The waiter was more interested in flirting with the bartender, his boyfriend I guess, than in paying attention to his table. Not a fan of this establishment. The tuna appetizer came out half way through dinner….it was sushi, raw, what took so long!
