“First let me say how much we appreciate Tamra Tatum at Southern Smoke of Tallahassee. Hands down professional 10 on all cylinders. We were in a bind after the hurricane and needed a Caterer for our event 10 days away. Tamra was the calm in the storm. She worked to get our quote within 24 hours, meeting our timeline and budget.
On the morning of the event Tamra accommodated our guests with special dietary restrictions. Baby that salmon was on POINT!!! All of the food was amazing from the Smoked Chicken to Mac & Cheese, Fried Okra the greens all phenomenal.
Southern Smoke served our guests patiently with smiles and extra care. The food and service made our formal event even better!!! Please if you haven't already, try them out! You will not regret it!!! Watch out Tallahassee! Southern Smoke is here to stay!“

“omgosh amazing food and service. had the pork duo, braises beef ribs, crab cakes, and bread with herb infused oil. definitely a 10/10 in our books. it's not a quick eating place takes about 1.5-2 hours and price is up there so sharing maybe an option especially with what we had but glad we chose our own meals instead of sharing.“

“This past Sunday, my mom and I chose Cracker Barrel as our after church dinner choice. One of the hostess taking names to text you when your tables were ready was very rude at first. However she got better. The other hostess allowed someone to break the line in front of us. When the lady at the register had asked the line to move closer to the wall in order to check out other guests. That's when a lady and her son came in after my mom and I and broke the line. Although they were busy, the way time wasn't bad. But upon being seated, our waitress apologized right upfront for yawning which she did a lot as well as digging in her eyes while taking our order. My mom ordered Greens. and they were out of cornbread. I ordered the grandma sampler and I didn't receive one of my meats. The side of lemons that we requested twice was very soggy thin and simply not fresh. Needless to say out of the many times that we have visited Cracker Barrel over the years. This was probably one of the worst times unfortunately I did not have the energy to deal with it on Sunday. Getting this email to ask for a review allowed me to share my truth.“

“Lindy’s Chicken has a long history in Tallahassee, Florida and I’ve been eating their fried chicken and other delicious delectables for over 30 years. I highly recommend this restaurant for fried chicken and just southern cuisine, period. I have always been satisfied by the quality of the food and the quality of the service I receive at Lindy’s Chicken.“

“Stopped by here for a late breakfast with family and everything was so good and the portion sizes were excellent! One member of our party got the little grace, two both got the Five & Dime, and I got the Sticky Maple and there was no complaints just full belly’s and lots of smiles! Everyone finished their meal and it was all very filling\n\nThe food extremely good and pretty well priced, but I can’t recommend this place enough for breakfast or lunch. I will definitely be back again next time I visit!“

“Brought my daughter to tour FSU and Backwoods was near our hotel. It was amazing!! Everyone loved their meal but the truffle bruschetta won the vote! Will definitely come back when we bring her for orientation.“
