I came in late one night because I knew it would be better to come inside and sit down to eat. I got the best service from a nice lady. I remember Amanda brought me my menu with a nice smile and was so friendly to me. I usually feel out of place in a restaurant sitting alone but she made me feel comfortable and I ate my meal without feeling this way. This was my first experience with Steak n Shake, on our Florida vacation. Service was courteous and excellent, food came out quickly and was delicious! ,(I can't say the same about Illinois). I would go here again next time we come to Florida!
OK, the burgers are off the chart good. they must be doing something right because we had to wait for a table and there wasn't an empty seat in the place for over an hour. lunch. awesome double burger, other family members got the bacon double something, it was awesome also. I would wait a bit for these burgers. a little frazzled staff but seriously the place was a zoo. I would be frazzled too if I had to deal with that crowd.
