Came here tonight for my 53rd birthday! Knew it would be expensive but why not? The sides and desserts were fabulous! The main course, antelope, was more like a Longhorn steak just three times the price; dry, bland and chewy though the mash was also great.Staff were fabulous, but overall an average and expensive experience.

We had a lovely dinner at The Huntsman! We started at the bar while we waited for our table. Our favorite cocktail was The Woodsman. Our server, Luis, was fantastic! We enjoyed all his food and drink recommendations. The eggplant appetizer and Japanese wagyu strip are a must try!

I'm so glad I finally got to try this place. Everything was outstanding. We did the 5 course tasting menu and loved everything on it. The dishes were creative and well balanced. It was a great way to try lots of different items and the service was well paced. I'm not a person that really ever takes pictures of food at restaurants but I had to snap one picture during the meal.

Luis provided us with fantastic service, food, and experience. He explained the effort that went into each course of the Hunter experience, as they use the highest quality ingredients from around the world. This really was a fantastic five star experience. Thank you.

Outstanding. Staff Andrew and Jeff could not have made this evening more perfect. My mom has pancreatic cancer and this was the first sit down restaurant that she has been to in 1.5 years. I was hesitant to bring her to a new place but I had spoken to the staff specifically about some of her dietary needs. Not only did they exceed those expectations, but I am honored to say that she was smiling while she ate which I have not seen in a very long time. She is vegetarian and ordered the Chili Crush Cauliflower and it melted in her mouth. Having Creme Brulle as a desert brought her back to her childhood. The aromas of this restaurant are simply better than any google review can properly describe. But I will say that as my mom is on chemotherapy, she is EXTREMELY sensitive to smells specifically garlic and she had zero complaints with this restaurant. I have typically driven up to restaurants and not even made it through the entrance without her getting sick from the scents of the restaurant. This place really truly is great for celebrating surviving cancer.Valet was also gentle with my boyfriend's car- even brought it out early so we would not have to wait for them. The sound was also not incredibly loud which I really appreciate as my family are partially deaf. I did not tell the staff this, but they are really good when it comes to speaking clearly and eloquently.Jeff especially made me have tears at the end of the meal. The passion that he and the staff have for this restaurant is evident from the first bite to the greeter as we were leaving the restaurant. My one suggestion to anyone that is thinking of going here, is that they change the menu often and just beware you will probably never have the same meal twice in a row. I was soooo looking forward to the meat loaf but the boar and rabbit cacciatore is my new favorite. Thank you again. I will be back to celebrate my being free from chemotherapy someday.Vegetarian options: Loved the cauliflowerDietary restrictions: Read my review but they definitely met all my needsParking: Valet is free and highly recommended

Indulging in a gastronomic delight at this establishment was nothing short of a culinary revelation. The Duck Cassoulet, a harmonious symphony of flavors and textures, left an indelible mark on my palate, while the Seafood Jambalaya transported me to the heart of Louisiana with its rich and aromatic essence. Paired impeccably with a velvety ganache, the dining experience reached new heights of decadence. However, what truly elevated the evening was the impeccable service provided by Luis. His attentiveness and expertise added an extra layer of warmth to an already exquisite evening. Each dish was presented with care and explained with passion, enriching the overall dining journey. In conclusion, if you seek an unforgettable culinary experience marked by exceptional cuisine and impeccable service, this gem is the epitome of fine dining excellence.

Our dining experience was incredible, their parpadelle with wild boar and rabbit cacciatore and Chicken roulade were amazing. We proclaim, that they are the best restaurant in Tallahassee.

My husband, my mother in law and I enjoyed our meals and dining experience. It was fabulous! HOWEVER, this was quickly overshadowed when we received our bill with the attached policy about the 18% tip being added on. We do not go out to eat often, my mother in law however does. We know that when you have to make a reservation to have a seat, its going to be typically expensive and expected. With that type of clientele, one could only assume that you would expect your guest to be polite and leave at least a 20% tip and usually more like we had planned. This left a very bad taste in our mouth. It was insulting. Then when my mother in law stated her displeasure to the host saying the attached note was tacky, he dismissed her and said "we like our policy. We have been doing it for a year and a half. " WOW! He was incredibly rude. He didn't even look at her. This is someone who spends hundreds of dollars on dining experiences weekly. At least have the decency to acknowledge her concern and tell her that most people are not as thoughtful or educated. Needless to say we will never be back and we will make sure to spread the word.I tried to put those review in their website but it did not allow me to post it. ?
